There are many different shapes on the surface of this couch. They all come together to make the print stand out and catch your eye. It is interesting to me how these shapes can make the couch look even more appealing to sit on.
1. This image investigates the element of shapes it can be seen by the shapes of the different fruits and vegetables.
2. The subject of the image is all the things in the bowl, and I approached it by taking the picture from above.
3. I believe the different shades and color of everything combined is the most successful part of the image.
4. If I could re-shoot the picture I would have pointed the camera more on an angle, rather than straight from the top.

I took this shot while in car, stopping at a traffic light.
Couldn't decide which vertical line to align the shot with, but I finally chose the lines on the far right.

The shapes bring to mind the five perfect solids of Pythagoras. (Though they do not actually meet the mathematical criteria).

1) This photo investigates shape and is reflected by the three dimensional shape of the clothespins.
2) The subject matter are clothespins, I approached my subject by making sure they were against a simple background so that nothing could distract the viewer from looking at the shape of the clothespins
3) I like the one blue clothespin in the mix of mostly brown.
4) I could improve this photo by zooming in closer so that the viewer can take in the entire shape of the subject.

Don't know if I'm seeing something that isn't there - but do any of you see what looks like whales in this picture? I've put a note where I think they are. I was taking this on the way home, into the sun, and I didn't see them at the time.
