"Do not become paralyzed and enchained by the set patterns which have been woven of old. No, build from your own youthful feeling, your own groping thought and your own flowering perception."

A pedestrian square in Zurich.
Info from a Swiss newspaper: "The modern fountain is the eye-catcher of the square. The Zurich architects Romero and Schaefle designed it, costing a good half a million francs, the most striking feature of which is a finely curved inflow of bronze. At times, wine flows from the fountain".
I am intrigued by this wine flow event.

Shapes created by the shadows seen when sunlight shines through a curtain onto a wall and stairwy. But I want a more exciting / expressive name for the image. Does anyone have any ideas ???
Check out my tutorial video to see how to create this shape: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_1T6Hq28S8
Some feedback below the video would be very appreciated!

Took a detour to Kerry Park from a flickr meetup. Caught this young couple sitting at the bench admiring the night view of Seattle.
I love shots like these when you capture something extra in the image, usually an interaction. Photography IMO is more about great exposures, colors, poses, and even subjects. It involves so much more about the invisibles such as emotions and abstract concepts such as contrast and visual perspective.

This i made it look like the shapes are in jail. I like it becuase all the shapes kindof ontrast off one another.
OK. So I'm tearing off in yet another direction. I wanted to explore the color palettes of the "old master" as well as look at what shapes can do in the form of "modernism". Well, this might not "go" anywhere, but it's an interesting side line while I try to find a way to crack open the creative performance community where I live. I want to make images of them, but... things take time, I guess...
