We were chugging past in a boat when this caught my eye. All the rectangle shapes really appealed to me. The shaped uniform, yet the local batik prints completely different and contrasting to the backdrop of the house.

Brooke made a second larger structure that experienced gumdrop fatigue and failure. It was neat to figure out which shapes were most stable and to try to balance/counterbalance the structures.

Zatim jediny bolestny kompromis. Krokve jsou bohuzel tak krive, ze nebylo mozne zakryt nevzhlednou izolaci a zaroven nechat odkryte krokve. Takze se to muselo podbit drevem a zarovnat. // Covering up the beams has so far been the only painful compromise we had to make. Originally, we wanted to cover the insulation while leaving the beams exposed. Unfortunately, the beams were too thin and too off to do that.

This photo meets the project goal because it shows various forms of shape, through the shape of the heart as a whole, as well as each individual flower. To take this photo, I placed several pieces of paper on a table and leaned some against books so have a back wall. I picked some of my mom's flowers and arranged them into the shape of a heart. I chose this picture because it shows shape well and it is also interesting to look at. To edit this photo, I adjusted the exposure, clarity, vibrance, and blacks and whites. I also used the spot removal tool and a brightened adjustment brush to make the background lighter and pure white. In taking this picture, I believe that I did a good job editing it and having the creativity to think of this idea. If I could change something about my photo, I would take it somewhere with more lighting so I wouldn't have to change so much when editing it. Overall, I am very excited about how my work turned out.
