A colander is held in the sunshine above a white tarp April 8, 2024, so the shape of the crescent sun and shadow of the moon can be seen during a solar eclipse at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This picture best represents shape since the light that is reflected through the ring makes a shadow of a heart on the book. I decided to take this picture at a close up angle so that you can clearly see the shape of the heart. I used an aperature of F 5.6 and a shutter speed of 1/120.

I don't believe it taking a picture and then just turning it black and white to make it artistic, which is why I kind of want to slap myself for giving in to the ol' black&white but I didn't want to distract from the contrasting textures, ultimately emphasizing the smoothness and therefore shape of the object.
