Scan of a big project (5 months) in Art Academy.
To start with I had to doodle shapes. Find shapes that were "me". Shapes I felt comfortable with. Hundreds of shapes were sketched in my dummy. After that I had to pick the best shapes. With these shapes I had to work. Make more shapes based on those. From these shapes there was an other selection made to choose the best collection. Now I had to refine those shapes and make a final series using black ink or marker. Finally from that collection the best shapes were chosen.
I had to cut these shapes out of black cardboard. Now the worst part of the project started. I had to put these shapes on a copy machine and make compositions with them. Dozens and dozens of copies on A3 size. Again, more selections..... Keep the best.....
Finally we had to make life-size shapes out of thick cardboard and paint them black. With these shapes we had to make 3 photo sessions.
1) Make compositions on the outside wall of the academy (huge white wall of a building designed by the famous Rietveld)
2) Inside a white studio
3) On location (which, thank goodness, we could pick ourselves).
I made the photo's in a forest near the village where I lived. It was winter and freezing.
The photo's (again, lots, and lots of shots) had to go through a selection. The best I had to make large sized versions in the dark room in school.
Finally I had to paste the photo's on huge pieces of paper and hang them next to the A3 sized copies in the studio.
After that there was nothing else to do then to hope for a good comment from the teacher.
Aaaaah, those were the days...
New at Bratiful.
I think the Avatar Welcome Pack has made Senra and other free bodies in SL obsolete. Exception some of the free or cheap heads available in Second Life.
I put this package together for several reasons. One is that the Avatar Welcome Pack is lacking a bit in instructions that are new avatar friendly. I also cover some work arounds for some of the limitations with the Lite heads and bodies.
I did four anatomically correct shapes for each head. I also included ten different BOM nail layers.

To celebrate my grandson's achieving his Tae Kwon Do orange belt. The 24 x 36 poster will go on his bedroom wall.

I made a tiny mistake while i was writing a letter to Santa. So, I had to ask Hong Kongs elves for help. I've just bought a ring adapter for my new filters set. Now, the fastest reindeer should tries his best to get here for 'yesterday' plleeessss :)
A pedestrian square in Zurich.
Info from a Swiss newspaper: "The modern fountain is the eye-catcher of the square. The Zurich architects Romero and Schaefle designed it, costing a good half a million francs, the most striking feature of which is a finely curved inflow of bronze. At times, wine flows from the fountain".
I am intrigued by this wine flow event.

A small series from the summit of the Grand Ballon, in the Vosges mountains (France).
This radar station caught my eye—not as a tourist sight, but as a shape in space.
I tried not to document, but to observe.
The soft curve of the dome, the brutal geometry of the base.
Clouds drifting by like thoughts.
And always: the wind.
Shot with a Fujifilm X-T3, in Classic Chrome and monochrome (Acros + R).
Sometimes sharp and clear, sometimes searching.
A quiet experiment.
In a fit of Blue Peter-ness, I decided to do a plait instead of the usual loaf. BTW, the board the baking sheet is standing on is Corian:-) This picture was taken after the second rising.
this doll is another beauty, she has gorgeous spiral curly hair that i boil permed her curls r still rly fab on her,her hair colour is a whitey blonde colour, she has dark eyelashes and rly red lips, she's such a pretty doll, she has no bite marks and her legs click n hold twice.
OK. So I'm tearing off in yet another direction. I wanted to explore the color palettes of the "old master" as well as look at what shapes can do in the form of "modernism". Well, this might not "go" anywhere, but it's an interesting side line while I try to find a way to crack open the creative performance community where I live. I want to make images of them, but... things take time, I guess...
