This i made it look like the shapes are in jail. I like it becuase all the shapes kindof ontrast off one another.
OK. So I'm tearing off in yet another direction. I wanted to explore the color palettes of the "old master" as well as look at what shapes can do in the form of "modernism". Well, this might not "go" anywhere, but it's an interesting side line while I try to find a way to crack open the creative performance community where I live. I want to make images of them, but... things take time, I guess...
African-American topiary artist living in Bishopville, South Carolina.
Born in Clinton, North Carolina, Pearl was the son of a sharecropper. Since the early 1980s, Pearl Fryar has been creating fantastic topiary at his garden in Bishopville, South Carolina. Living sculptures, Pearl’s topiaries are astounding feats of artistry and horticulture. Many of the plants in Pearl’s garden were rescued from the compost pile at local nurseries. With Pearl’s patience and skilled hands, these “throw aways” have thrived and have been transformed into wonderful abstract shapes.
This photograph is of pool balls. I thought the shape of them and light on them really worked for shape this week. it also has other weeks goals which I thought really helped to make this week work. while taking this picture i wanted to take it at an angle to make it more interesting. I thought it was a little difficult trying to get a good picture of shape, but I also think it turned out well. to make the shape and light of the balls stand out I added more vibrance and turned down the brightness a little. Overall I think this weeks photo turned out well.

Lusaka Global Shapers conducted outreach at the Lubuto Model Library about emotional intelligence in February 2020 in response to the gassing and political unrest in Lusaka and surrounding areas. They discussed how anger and fear can lead to subconscious actions and behaviors that can have negative consequences. Their take-home message is that it's okay to feel upset, worried, and sad, but it's important to not hurt yourself, others, or property.
