I had a long chat about the seasons with my coworker today. No matter how bad it gets, cold, wind, etc, I love me some winter. I am excited it's here. And I will be just as excited when it's all over and spring is here, too.
One of the many boardwalks over the sand dune conservation area at Carabassi beach. The Zuiko 45 is cool at this type of image.

The owner was actually taking his ten fluffy cats for a walk in a baby's stroller. It was equally strange and wonderful! And, interestingly, all ten cats were so calm and well-behaved! Found an photographed while exploring with Kiyoshi-san and Sun. Omotesando, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. November 12, 2016.
Abstract shot of raindrops on a window - created using the way blur and bokeh works in the Lens Baby Sweet 50 lens and tilt shift composer. By shooting the raindrops slightly out of focus at f2.5, with the point of focus off centre and in one corner, I was able to create an image that had circular blur just off from this point and then radial blur towards the edges. That shot was then duplicated, reflected and rotated in Photoshop to create this kaleidoscopic image. The original lens baby shot is, effectively, each quarter of the image.
The weather was actually quite nice today for a change, so I was able to go out and take some photos! But it started raining again five minutes after I got home. Go figure. =P

My sweet lil Zoe cat. She put up with me playing around with some shallow depth of field on my seldom used 50mm. Always fun to change it up from time to time. When I saw how her eyes and those few strands of "eyebrow whiskers" popped I was glad I did. Meow!
Soon it's time again for the Bokeh lenses :)

In unserem Garten ist im Moment so einiges los :) Es ist eine wahre Freude den Bienen bei der Arbeit zuzusehen.
There is a lot going on in our garden at the moment :) It is a real pleasure to watch the bees at work.
That's how far I walked from my back door to get this shot. Ok, maybe 15. I'm terrible at distances.
Best to see it large on black!
