Or have I been reading too much of Agatha Christie? Such pretty plants and flowers when in full bloom. Are they truly poisonous?
"Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea) is a poisonous plant that is possibly fatal if ingested by humans, cats, dogs and horses. The poisonous ingredient in foxglove is cardio glycosides, which can cause a heart attack."
Dame Agatha was correct!
(nota bene: for those who find shallow depth of field irritating, I will try to learn how to focus stack.)
Still giving my head a chance to recover from trying to get cozy with concrete pavement ;)

The dogwood trees are still blooming, throughout the valley, with their delicate clouds of floating petals. These were in Stanley Park in Westfield, MA last night. 🌸🌸
As we say goodbye to the autumn leaves up here in Chicago, here's a beautiful shallow depth of field photo of an early autumn leaf, captured by photographer Robin Taylor. Robin used a Tamron SP 90mm f/2.5 macro lens mounted on his Fujifilm XT1 with our Nikon to Fuji X lens adapter.

Just one of many icicles hanging from the bushes near the entryway to our stable. I think it is amazing how the ice captures the world in the distance and holds it hostage until the sun comes out to free it.
Have a wonderful day everyone!
Maui was one of four cats from the same litter that we loved for nearly 16 years. Sadly, on 11/12/20 our little sweetheart passed over Rainbow Bridge, Matty, one of her brothers preceded her in June.

I found this little blue hiding on my hard drive and decided to set it free :) The sunshine is out here today, which feels amazing, though we're a long way from butterfly season yet.
In search of cute and gamboling lambs I found these instead - a vision of sunshine yellow and spring joy :)
