A cute vintage syrup pitcher. Dark olive green plastic top, decorative glass body. The glass is in excellent condition. There is a hairline crack on the plastic top, which does not effect the way it screws on, nor compromises it's pouring integrity. I believe it could be patched someday if needed.

Pomegranate & Pistachio Cheese Log
Combine 8 oz softened goat cheese and 1 minced garlic clove. Using waxed paper, shape into a 6"-long log. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Mix 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds and 1/3 cup chopped pistachios and press onto surface of log. Serve with crackers.

During the breakfast Colorado Springs citizens enjoyed a meal prepared by Fort Carson Soldiers, listened to the local band, the Durango Drifters, and cheered as riders with the Pikes Peak Range Ride set out on their annual five-day trek.

Here is a 15.5" x 22.5" serving tray made from black walnut. It has a beading detail on the bottom and a clear urethan finish.
The Virginia National Guard’s longest serving aviator conducts his final flight as an Army warrant officer Aug. 17 to mark his retirement after nearly 42 years of service. Chief Warrant Officer Norman H. McIntosh officially retires Aug. 18 after he takes off for the last time from the Army Aviation Facility in Sandston to take a final flight around the Richmond area in a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter. McIntosh joined the Army Oct. 16, 1968 and completed his pilot training Dec. 1, 1969. He served in Vietnam from March 1970 to March 1971 where he served as an aircraft commander for both Huey and Cobra helicopters in the 229th Aviation Battalion of the 1st Cavalry Division.
