Canadian Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff put on an apron to serve hotdogs during a short stop at a barbecue in Gatineau, Quebec. Ignatieff has visited every Canadian province and territory this summer on the Liberal Express tour. With him in the photo is local Liberal candidate Steve MacKinnon.

The "Serving Time" article on the Stanton city website makes interesting reading to accompany this photo. Too bad everything is closed on Saturdays in Stanton, else I would have loved to see the interior.

Here is a 15.5" x 22.5" serving tray made from black walnut. It has a beading detail on the bottom and a clear urethan finish.
The Salvation Army continue to serve wherever there is a need.
With their mobile canteens they are on call 24/7 and attend incidents where there are 8 or more fire engines present.
Serving refreshments to all blue light res-ponders is a service given freely by the volunteers who man the canteens.
