Built as T.7 XL605 in 1958, she served with 92 Squadron - the Blue Diamonds - leading the team. Also serving with 66 Squadron and 229 OCU, in 1966 she was returned to Hawkers and converted to unofficial 'T.70' spec and loaned to the Royal Saudi Air Force for jet conversion training. Presented to the Royal Jordanian Air Force in 1968, she came home in 1974 having been swapped for an ex-RAF FR.10. Refurbished at Dunsfold, she returned to the RAF under a new serial - XX467 - and served with 229 OCU and the TWU, retiring to ground duties in 1983. Sold in 1997 to the current owner, a full restoration to airworthy condition was begun by Delta Jets at Kemble. However this proved to be more protracted than the owner expected and the aircraft was placed into storage before moving by road to Exeter. The restoration gradually continued after further storage but work once again halted and she has now been sold to Dave Thomas and moved to Bruntingthorpe. Dave has reassembled her and a restoration to taxiing condition is continuing. Aircraft now on display at Newark air museum

Copperware have antimicrobial properties. Copper utensils and cookware helped to prevent the spread of diseases. In many tests it showed that 99.9% of the bacteria on copper alloy surfaces (with 65% or greater copper content) were eliminated within 2 hours of exposure. According to research at Southampton University in the U.K., MRSA microbes remain alive on stainless steel surfaces for up to three days, whereas the same microbes on a copper surface are eliminated within 90 minutes.

Quick and dirty recipe to try a supertweeter atop an FR or high-sensitivity horn/driver that needs some 'sparkle'. First order XO "should" be high (e.g., 10 kHz; 2.0 uF @ 8 ohms). Tune to taste with variable L-pad. If desired, measure Rseries & Rparalllel for the best result & convert to fixed L-pad. "Great for tube amps"

I am so excited about this set. A friend of mine, David Clifton, whom I met about a month ago at the retreat I was on, puts on a dinner for all the homeless people in Denver. He and his volunteers can serve between 5,000 and 10,000 people on this day alone. He has been doing missions for many years and has been to 51 countries. When he asked me to photograph this event for him I was so honored. I wanted to do more, serve people food, take them to their seats, etc.... But I wanted to capture some important pictures too, as I believe these people are very special. I tried to talk to as many of them as I could, and I hope they felt that I cared about them.
