Implied Violence will be hosting an all night Art House/Hell House in the basement of The American Hotel. Located on 5th and King St., and once owned by The Union Gospel Mission serving women and children, it will soon be overrun with young and soft European hostlers. Through both legitimate and below grade dealings, Implied Violence has been granted the basement to install bands, art, bars, and performance for one-night only. Take it and smile. Art provided by Implied Violence, NKO, several friends, and many enemies. This event features performance by the adorable duo JERRY & AUBREY, drinking led by The Implied Violence Shot-A-Thon Sponsors, and the burning/beating/bashing of hand-crafted Implied Violence Effigies! Implied Violence has also convinced six of Seattle’s sexiest bands to rock our beautiful Chinatown basement well into the wee morning hours—TacocaT, Idle Times, Loving Thunder, 1212, Agatha, and Beast Please Be Still. Oh, and don’t forget that adorable duo JERRY & AUBREY! Our line-up is confirmed, the booze has been bought, and the invitations are in the mail. All funds earned from this event will go towards flying over twenty degenerate Implied Violence villains and enemies alike to New York for the bizarrely prestigious New isLand Festival.

The Airpower Foundation was proud to partner with American Airlines, MGM Resorts International, The Gary Sinise Foundation, Terry Fator, Chef Robert Irvine, USO Metro, Greyhound, Sundance Helicopters, Still Serving Promos, Friends of Freedom, The Fremont St. Experience, and many additional partners and supporters to present Salute to the Troops 2017!

For the 9th year in a row, American Airlines donated a special 757 chartered aircraft to bring 140 wounded ill or injured service members and a guest to Las Vegas.

Activities included a heroes welcome at the Mirage which was our home for the weekend. From there our guests enjoyed the Secret Garden at the Mirage, the shark reef at Mandalay Bay, a private dinner with Gary Sinise at Bubba Gump Shrimp Factory, an amazing concert with Phil Vandel opening and then Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band on Fremont Street!

Sunday our nations heroes flew up and down the Las Vegas Strip thanks to Sundance Helicopters, and then enjoyed an amazing meal at Chef Robert Irvine's Public House Restaurant. Then master magician, Criss Angel, put on an amazing show at the Luxor for everyone. After the show, Criss spent some very special time with our warriors answering questions, and just having fun.

Wounded heroes also enjoyed a tour of Hover Dam, and a great Dinner at the Tournament of Kings at Excalibur. And of course our dear friend and supporter of all who serve, Terry Fator put on an amazing show for everyone!

The final day included a wonderful brunch at the Luxor before heading back on our donated American Airlines charter and the all volunteer flight crew who took such good care of everyone all weekend long!

A huge thank you to all those who volunteered their time and resources to make this weekend possible!
