This is how much 1/2 cup of cereal is. It is a shockingly small amount that barely covers the bottom of a cereal bowl. And this is how much you are supposed to eat, along with 1/2 cup of milk, which fortunately does cover the 1/2 cup of cereal. Eyeballing it yields about 2 and 1/2 recommended servings.
This serving tray was cut on an epilog 40W laser cutter. I used a single sheet (18"x24") piece of acrylic to create the tray. The five parts were bonded with acrylic cement. The bottom was etched with a hexagon pattern for effect.

This lovely serving/mixing bowl would grace your table very elegantly. It was wheel thrown in a red stoneware clay, the rim was altered and flared a bit, and decorated with oak leaves looking like they just grow out of the scallops. . It was then glazed in the pretty aqua glaze that breaks nicely on the high spots showing the nice brown contrast of the clay body underneath. The finish is a satin matte.
