WEEK 21 – Summer 2017 Kickoff!
Turning to the right from the meat department, we happen upon the store's service departments: meat (stylized as “Butcher Block”) and seafood sharing a space in the foreground, with the deli just beyond that. I'd guess that the bakery is out of view beside the deli, too. And I guess this is one plus about the non-deluxe version of Industrial Circus: having the illustrations two-dimensionally printed onto the angled square pieces means that the store won't have to deal with peeling stickers as it ages!

Here is Athens Services #423 on the side of the road with no signboard. It looks like #423 was getting towed to either a scrap yard or to get a fresh coat of paint and the tow truck had issues. If anyone sees #423, please leave a comment because I’m curious what will happen to it?
These kitten-brothers are 3 months old, but it looks like they know how to take care of themselves on their own...

Making quite a surprise return to the rail scene in Australia, Sydney Electric Train Society's 86 class had recently gone under testing around Lithgow and Penrith since the completion of the major overhaul.
On Monday the 29th of October, 8606 joined 8134 on E702 rail set to North Sydney for works on the underground around Central.
The newest double decker in the Reliance fleet is Volvo B7TL Plaxton President LK03 NHP, their first President. New to First Capital North in the VNL class as 32313 (VNL32313) it later passed to Go-Ahead London General and became PVL3 yet retained the London version of the First Willowleaf ('Barbie') livery. Seen as no longer required within the group, it was sold and purchased by Reliance and was initially only for school services. It has now gained LED destination equipment which seems to mean this is now part of the fleet for normal service use, and is seen here at York Exhibition Square running the PM peak 40 service to Easingwold and Crayke
Former Safeway Services of South Petherton Leyland Leopard PSU3F/4R / Duple Dominant B61F TYD911W, new in 1980, currently lives in south Hampshire as part of the Portsmouth City Coaches proprietor's collection of heritage vehicles. I was fortunate enough to see it in late October 2020.
For a visit to Leicester in June 1976, photographer Charles Dean drove Tyne & Wear PTE Morris Marina van HVM474N down from Newcastle, parking it alongside Leicester Corporation Ford Escort HJF526N. The former no longer bothers the DVLA, but the latter does, being on the road for a bit over ten years from February 1975.

This unique building was built with fossilized stone and petrified wood in the 1920's. It was a hot spot for illegal alcohol (Moonshine) during Prohibition. Across the road was a roadhouse of same material that was used as a speakeasy. Glen Rose was known as moonshine capital of Texas with rumors of Bonnie and Clyde visiting.

Class 67 locomotive No. 67025 enters Weston-super-Mare station with the 16:16 Taunton to Cardiff Central service on Wednesday 29th July 2009. Sister locomotive No. 67005 had the easy job at the other end of the consist.

Its been a whole fortnight since I posted a kitchen photo, therefore it must be rectified immediately :) I did initially pick a photo from the hall in this dress but it was a bit dark, so I'll go with this one which I really like. Mostly because it gives such a wonderful view of that bag of cat food.

Couple pictures from the main yard. I was shocked to see a 310 pull in from the boneyard so it's nice to see they're still using them even after franchising.
High standard of service being provided by Stagecoach Devon on this afternoon, not only Gold spec Scanias, but a 5 second frequency!! Actually one of the pair running the half-hourly Torquay-Plymouth Gold service was 30 minutes late.
Thought I'd better post a bus shot after all the coaches. I must be the opposite of you Ant? LOL! ;-)
