WEEK 21 – Summer 2017 Kickoff!
Turning to the right from the meat department, we happen upon the store's service departments: meat (stylized as “Butcher Block”) and seafood sharing a space in the foreground, with the deli just beyond that. I'd guess that the bakery is out of view beside the deli, too. And I guess this is one plus about the non-deluxe version of Industrial Circus: having the illustrations two-dimensionally printed onto the angled square pieces means that the store won't have to deal with peeling stickers as it ages!

Across the Australian outback, words such as ‘remoteness’ and ‘distance’ are elevated to a new order of meaning. Medical facilities are few and far between. And if a patient or accident victim is in urgent need of intensive medical care, the nearest full-service hospital can be thousands of kilometres away. To address this need the Royal Flying Doctor Service operates 71 aircraft flying out of 23 bases around the country. Staffed by doctors and emergency nurses, these planes are in effect airborne intensive care units.
This particular aircraft is a Beechcraft Queen Air built in 1977. Decommissioned in 1992, it now hangs from the ceiling in the Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame, in Longreach Queensland, where an entire gallery is devoted to the role of the RFDS in outback Australia.
