Last Triple Crown service on the NS or anywhere in the US. A very unique setup of truck trailes riding on a railroad truck set makes these a little more different from the more commonly seen truck trailers on spine cars. Only one train like this one still run on the Norfolk Southern and its popularity from the 90's, when NS and Conrail partnered up to make the Triple Crown service, has only tricked out. As interesting as it is, it to closely competes to trucking, that's what I think. I hope it sticks around for a little while longer, maybe even bring back the great Triple Crown service.

First Eastern Counties Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 passes the Railway Station at Lynn on the XL service to Peterborough
The annual Alton Bus Rally, one of the biggest in the UK, took place on a gloriously sunny July 15th 2018 and attracted upwards of 150 buses & coaches including Stagecoach Hampshire Bus 1988 Leyland Olympian / Alexander RL 14951 (201) F601MSL.
After almost 3 months of being out of service due to a traction motor blowing up we see the 1004 3 weeks after being put back in service working hard in Vidalia on a long freight.
Class 180 diesel multiple unit No. 180108 waits to leave Hartlepool station with 1A61, the 08:44 Sunderland to London Kings Cross service on Monday 10th February 2020.
On the previous day, when Storm Ciara was at its most potent in these isles, Grand Central had cancelled all of its services.

Luckily, the inside hadn't changed: never mind that this photo was taken in July, before the repainting, haha. On that matter, I've got over 100 pics in my vault from this place, including ones I recently took that I desperately want to share... but I'm forcing myself to stick with the 30 I chose before I took those, because if I keep uploading the new pics I'll never get to these ones!
Anyway: this is the Guest Services area, accessible from the entry vestibule. Since this store does not have a pharmacy, this is Horn Lake's only example of the wavy neon squiggling into legibility.

It was difficult to get enthusiastic about United's Bristol REs when they weer in this dismal allover red livery, and anyway the NBC was not the reason for my visit to this area ! I don't think 4262 was in passenger service by this time either, and was being used as a driver shuttle bus between the depot and town.
Not for much longer though, as later in the year it went over the Irish Sea to Citybus, where it ran for a further 4 years before being the victim of an arson attack, the unfortunate fate of so many vehicles at the time.

A wide array of vehicles on the headland of the National Trust's Foel y Mwnt, Ceredigion, Wales following a search and rescue exercise.
Its been a whole fortnight since I posted a kitchen photo, therefore it must be rectified immediately :) I did initially pick a photo from the hall in this dress but it was a bit dark, so I'll go with this one which I really like. Mostly because it gives such a wonderful view of that bag of cat food.

This unique building was built with fossilized stone and petrified wood in the 1920's. It was a hot spot for illegal alcohol (Moonshine) during Prohibition. Across the road was a roadhouse of same material that was used as a speakeasy. Glen Rose was known as moonshine capital of Texas with rumors of Bonnie and Clyde visiting.

High standard of service being provided by Stagecoach Devon on this afternoon, not only Gold spec Scanias, but a 5 second frequency!! Actually one of the pair running the half-hourly Torquay-Plymouth Gold service was 30 minutes late.
Thought I'd better post a bus shot after all the coaches. I must be the opposite of you Ant? LOL! ;-)
