Sunset on the campus at Berwick Academy, a.k.a. "The Academy on the Hill." If you look at the sky, you can find 10+ dust spots. To capture 9 exposures, I had to close the aperture to get them just right. I left the ISO at 100. I'm still fighting grainy (red) pixels for dusk shots, especially in the grass and red objects. More to learn.
Time to finally break out the new wet sensor cleaning kit.

that horizontal "i" you see at the top of the speaker are the proximity and ambient light sensors. the proximity sensors turns off the screen when it senses your cheek touching it during a call so that you don't hit the keypad by mistake. the light sensor monitors the ambient light and sets the brightness of the screen accordingly.
Lets see if the battery life on this thing is as bad as others have said it was. Suppose to be 30hrs, which isn't alot for 4 AA batteries I think. Range on this thing is 25 feet. Will see if this bar is better than the original or not.

Asuro Erweiterung für Ultraschallmodule:
eine Erweiterung für verschiedene Arten von Ultraschallsensoren (Devantech SRF02, 04, 05, 08, 10 und Maxbotix EasySonar). Die Verdrahtung kann über Steckbrücken an die verschiedensten Ultraschallsensoren angepaßt werden. Hier ist die Verkabelung für den SRF05 zu sehen.
This is part of the scanner sensor of a Minolta film scanner. You can see the colour filters on the sensor. Note that the sensor is made by Sony. I estimate the letters in 'SONY' are less than 0.02mm high.
As a nice irony, the photograph is taken with the lens that was also removed from the (defunct) scanner.
Remove the 13mm bolt facing the drivers side of the truck, not the 15mm bolt facing the front of the truck. Then pry the sensor up toward the power steering pump. You won't be able to remove the sensor completely until you loosen the PS / Alternator bracket so you can tilt the PS pump forward slightly.
New crank shaft position sensor from GSF. This is the "Standard" one for £42. There was a "Premium" one for £65 but with no supporting evidence of why it was better. So I didn't buy it. Time will tell.
Two fuel flow sensors wires are shown here. They are connected via two white plastic plugs.
A third wire sensor can be seen: the variable reluctance rpm sensor, which wires is a pair of a green and a black wire, on the left.
This is first version of my home monitoring system. Starting with PIR sensor and temperature sensor.
