I had a relaxing day day! I went boating, fishing, swimming. It's been fun with the family!
Got a new softbox, Westcott Apollo 28x28, also bought the 40 degree Grid. Set it up tonight and took some hand held self portraits, to test things out. Most of these were shot with manual setting via YN-622C, at either 1/8th power or 1/4 power, focal length set to auto
I applied for a job, taking photos of flowers and plants for a nursery catalogue, im crossing my fingers!
there was thunder outside while i took this, i didnt see much lightning, barely any rain or wind, its warm, and now its sunny outside.
i was tagged by megan, so here is aother 10 facts:
1.i love the smell pine trees and cedar.
2. i wish i had a cape.
3. im going to be spending tomorrow watching the hannah montana marathon, yes im cool.
4. when im typing, thinking and trying to talk to someone, i get confused, ill type what im saying and think about what im typing.
5. i have conversations with people in my head, like ill think of a situation that most likely wont happen, and have it planned out, and have the conversation going on in my mind.
6. this project has gone by quickly, and i feel like i havent pushed myself enough.
7. "if you really knew me" is my new fav show.
8. only 50 more days until glee, YES.
9. im kinda excited for school, because i can see all the people i hate and put my plans of pushing them down the stairs into action! (kidding, but they better watch out.)
10. i dont like the beatles, and people think im crazy for it.
as for the new flickr layout: its good UNTIL THE PANDA BEAR JUMPS OUT AT ME AND SCARES ME.

Since I can't leave my apartment - I have a compulsive desire to to take some pictures - I decided to take a self-potrait. I made it a black and white on purpose - my eyes are so yellow it is scarry

I had a good day today. Work was good. The fire extinguisher fell today causing the whole thing to empty out everywhere! This is a chocolate peanut butter oatmeal bar.

Had a lazy 31st December - just a tiny bit of work - was not feeling well (headache mostly) and didn't leave the house. We'd decided earlier in the week that there had been so much running around that NYE we'd stay in. We did get all dressed up though for the evening and we stayed in ... I was determined not to miss midnight just because I didn't feel 100%. So we had our own little celebration - had a good dinner, watched some comedy and listened to some party music. Then lots of the houses nearby around had fireworks at the stroke of midnight. :-)
Happy New Year everyone - here's to a fab 2010!
Here are my resolutions in no particular order (in notes) above:
Be tidier
Be sillier
Get more sleep
Spend more time with my friends, family and loved ones
Eat more healthy and get to my pilates class more often
Work less hours
Print more photos in 2010
See the ocean more and go back to Portugal this year
Complete my 365
I knew the moment I got her name which shot I was going to have to copycat! My hair isn't as long therefore less dramatic but I hope that this is instantly recognisable as a tribute to her! My processing skills aren't great i have no idea how she got the coloured hue over it. However this is after all my interpretation. I think it's also my first SP.
