this picture pretty much describes my life

yeahh i'm never going to be a real photographer, i should probably just get over it

p.s. sorry for being so.. whatever i'm being lately

Settings: 1/50 Sec at f/2.5 ISO 400 :: Sigma 30mm f/1.4

So, as I've mentioned lots before, I started photography and film-making in February of last year. When I started I had one aim and that was to get something I've made seen by people. Sort of vague but I managed it a few months later when I had my first short film that I co-directed shown at a local cinema in a short film competition. We didn't win but we did get some great praise, and for saying it was our first project ever, we were pleased.

Well, since that point, I've been setting more goals and I feel that these ten goals/aims/things sum up what I want from this year.

For the photo I used the remote audio trigger again on my 550D. I cannot recommend Magic Lantern enough to any of you that have a Canon camera and want more from it for FREE! I use Magic Lantern for everything from HDR bracketing, Timelapses with the built in intervalometer, and even filming with better ISO control and internal cropmarking.

For my first FDT in London, this seemed the most fitting.

Taken at the Tower of London, amongst amused passersby.

HFDT! :)

(I love me some jazz hands, my Fugger friends, but this was too good to pass up... lol)

i can't replace images because i don't have a pro account, i deleted the last one that i had up for about 5 seconds. I like the edit with the vignette better.

"There are things that I said I would never do

There are fears that I cannot believe have come true

For my soul is too sick and too little and too late

And my self I have grown to weary to hate

The more I stay in here

The more it's not so clear

The more I stay in here

The more I disappear

As far as I have gone

I knew what side I'm on

But now I'm not so sure

The line begins to blur"

Stage 4 colon cancer helped me discover who I am.

The scars on my torso - a permanent reminder of a life-changed, life won…. The marks around the scar, symptoms of ongoing life-preserving treatment. The bands on my wrists, new signs of who I have become. One tells the medical community what I am – a survivor with a ‘power port’ in my chest which is the quickest way to access my blood stream in the case of emergency. The other tells the world who I am - a cancer survivor – with arms crossed in defiant strength and self-defence - emergent yet ever-wary.

I live through Stage 4 colon cancer. But I am not cancer.

I got a new flash: the Canon Speedlite 580EX II.

OMG, I love it. I didn't have to process this photo at all. I just cropped a tiny bit. I have a lot of learning to do, but damn, I'm excited!!!

I ordered a lightsphere too. That should be coming in the mail tomorrow. :D

Right now I feel like I'm on a giant rollercoaster and don't want to get off!

Pinhole self portrait and raven. This the left half of a stereo pinhole group. print is a toned silver gelatin print. Image made with a self made 6x9 cm 120 extreme wide angle pinhole camera. The focal lenght is different from center to the edges. This causes the distortion on the edges. This image was stolen by a {Danele Trout } and illegally uploaded on Polyvore. She was the most obnoxious, arrogant image thief that I have come across so far She had the gull to claim authorship of my image after she uploaded it from an interview that I gave to chriskeeneyphoto.com She is a really brazen thief that steals your images and then dares you to sue her because she believes that she is protected by the cloak of her young age. The site is Polyvore . user: heathermorriscrazygeekdani name Daniele Trout.

CASI ALBA

Casi alba,
