I received an email from my local outdoor outfitter store that they were having a sale on wooden hangers. 50 cents each, 5 for $2.25 or 50 for $20. WHAT A GREAT DEAL. Time to replace those plastic ones I hate and that have been breaking. I love finding secondhand bargains!

Calls itself Livres and does sell books but is more like a squat. Quite dark inside (no electricity), quite filthy, and stinks of piss. The most disgusting shop I've ever been in - two seconds inside was enough for me - though there may be worse bookshops elsewhere.
They were on a summer break, so I did not have a chance to go in today. Looked interesting and posh. (Laivurinkatu 41)
Just a small selection I found in Richard Caplan Leica shop in Bury St, London. The nice chap found me a a rear end cap for my Elmarit 90 :-)

My favorite place to shop, filled with salvaged building materials saved from the landfill and waiting to be reused. Located in San Francisco at 701 Amador Street in the Bayview District. The MUNI 15 bus stops at 3rd & Cargo Way a block from Building Resources. Note that the MUNI drivers have been pretty cool about letting me on the bus with an armful of used lumber, which is pretty nice.
Such a cold day and my new winter coat that I have ordered is on a 2-4 week delivery! So instead I am keeping warm by layering. At least my new snood has turned up.

I went to this concert with a few friends last summer. Secondhand Serenade was the opening act for All American Rejects, and John did a spectacular job! I even got to meet him, it was a really incredible experience. He's an amazing performer, seeing as it's just him and his guitar and no one else. The lighting there was really gorgeous, and he basically just did an amazing performance.

Here’s the secondhand Cupid I found for $4 brushed and her face wiped down with some water. Her curls were smooshed but thankfully they kept their shape, they just were out of place. Otherwise the doll is basically in perfect condition and has literally everything she came with except her bag and stand (I believe 1600 Cupid lacks a diary so yeah). In comparison to my first one, her heart thingy’s isn’t twisted as tightly but it seems to be a result of the factory as her hair is still in it’s original factory setting.
Also it seems I’m building a small collection of EAH dolls without intending to, though I’m still on the fence about getting EAH Cupid as the doll isn’t deathly pale like her webisode counterpart heh. Also the brand isn’t even here in Australia so yeah lol.
