So yesterday was my birthday and in celebration I got my lip pierced.

I plan to get my other side pierced too but for now i just got the right side of my lip pierced.

I Had a great birthday by the way. Saturday I saw Secondhand Serenade which he was amazing lol.

I had a good time and then last night me and my friends went to Cheesecake Factory for my birthday dinner.

So please tell me what you think of my lip piercing.

found this over the weekend for 99 cents -- unmarked, but seems like decent quailty, legs move and has a squeaker in back

My beau gave me a rose—leftover from a Valentine's Day flower-and-candy sale fundraiser.

He makes me smile.

Don't know what these two are up to.

Bandai 1999 and Millhouse as the Fallout Boy in the Radioactive Man series

The one on the right has the squirrel cardigan in it.

Bought in the Sue Ryder shop in Horsham for £4 in about 1998. Have seen a lot of disco action (and repairs) since...

I think it's OK to share this here as the pattern is long out of print and no longer available from the publisher, only secondhand on ebay and used book sites.

Please, tell me if you know otherwise.

I'm sooo happy, even if I didn't find any barbie clothes that I liked, too bad :)

Japanese culture? Not any more. People wear them so rarely, and there are more kimono than kimono purchasers. I must say that Kimono are a bit of a pain to put on and care for. I am a fan of Samue "work clothes" myself.

Light cotton calico with nice, tight weave.

I've found this coatrack on thursday in "Prenzlauer Berg". I was looking for something like that for a while now. Bad thing is, that we've lend our drilling machine to some friends…

I love it when I find never worn shoes at the thrift store.

I have never been a huge fan of the whole Boho look. It's usually a little too "hippie" for my taste. Today's ensemble is pretty much as Bohemian as I will ever get (rather tame, I know) and I think it's "free spirited" appearance is mostly due to my rather wild hair. ;)

This top was given to me a few years back and I have loved it ever since. The details of the lace and buttons are so victorian (I should really make over some tee shirts like this!) and the whimsy factor is right up my alley. The skirt is bias cut in a bold and unique pattern. I'm always careful with bias cut pieces, as I hate things to look too slinky, but this piece is really fun and has nice sleek shape.

... I like a beer now and then. The residue of my pleasure is urine. Would you be annoyed if I stood on a chair and pissed on your head and your clothes without your consent?

I made this dress, hat and bloomers for my niece, using a secondhand men's button down shirt, and some purchased broadcloth. The dress is from McCall's pattern M5367, with a few simple adjustments to make it reversible.

This is the reverse side of the dress.

Relatable. But mugs have to be super special for me to bring them home.
