I actually bought this goofy little vest last winter at a thrift shop...I thought it might end up being too silly to wear, but I find that I actually wear it pretty frequently. I will be hemming the fringe under soon, though.
Finally spotted one of these in the wild! So this comes up often on the Facebook group Weird and Wonderful Secondhand Finds (That Just Have to Be Shared). I'm not sure what the story is, I mean, it's a mug, right? So I see this and I'm like cool, photo op! So then I'm looking at something on the shelf below and some dude comes in and snatches that thing up so fast and I'm like um wtf? So I actually spoke to a human being and said something to him about finally seeing one of those in person. So he's telling me that he used to have a huge collection of them and got rid of them and then regretted it when he saw what they go for now. Okay.... So I gather these mugs are from FTD the florist from the 1980s and I did see a couple listings in the $15-$20 range. *shrug*
