The Home Energy Saving Kits have been developed by Dublin's energy agency Codema and contain six practical tools to help the public save energy at home. The items in the toolkits address three key areas of energy use in the home - space heating, hot water and electricity consumption - and can help identify common problems such as lack of insulation, poor ventilation and the appliances in the home that might be driving up electricity bills.

Named for the fresco depicting Dionysus saving Ariadne from the island of Dia (a mythological name for Naxos), this villa is particularly famous for its frescoes, many of which depict light, winged figures. It is difficult to get a clear sense of this villa, however, because it grew over the course of 150 years. It has one of the largest courtyards of any Roman villa; measuring two stadia in length.
Went out to shoot Perth City from Kings Park tonight. Didn't calculate that most of the office lights would be turned off so there wasn't too much light from the buidings.
In the corner of my eye I spotted these stairs being lit but a single light.
Greenpeace campaigners in London joined forces with a samba band outside the Brazilian Embassy to save the Amazon rainforest. They hoisted a banner saying Save the Amazon and the band played for the embassy staff. The activists were part of a worldwide effort which saw similar activities take place around the world, including Paris, Rome, Berlin, Mexico City and Washington DC. These global activities are aimed to remind Brazils President Dilma Rousseff that almost 80 per cent of Brazilians want the Amazon protected.

On August 25, the Kentuckiana Region invited businesses from throughout the community to attend the Ready 365 Reception to kick-off the new corporate giving campaign led by Courier-Journal President & Publisher Wes Jackson. While the event was meant to inform, it also inspired. Kentuckiana Region Executive Jennifer Adrio presented Katie Strange with a Certificate of Extraordinary Achievement for her brave actions this past July when she helped save a life.
Strange was at her home in Elizabethtown, Ky. when her neighbor ran over with his infant daughter. The girl was choking on a small toy and was no longer breathing. Using skills she learned in a Red Cross Babysitter training course, Strange dislodged the toy from the infant’s throat saving the child’s life.

so i was driving around looking for a feature. (starting to sound familiar, huh?) anyways, i couldn't really find anything. the area they needed it from is rural and it was a weekday.
so as i was driving back around 4, feeling defeated, the light was nice and i passed this field freckled with these backlit, glowing dandelions. i sped past thinking, self, make a note that these flowers look pretty at this hour. then i thought, hold up, who calls themselves self? right. me. then i decided to make a 3-pointer in a driveway, park, and lay on the ground amongst the flowers with my 200mm. i'm a total dork. i'm sure all the people in the cars speeding past agreed.
AND i forgot to make a wish.
