This are short advertisements that I did for a water saving project. Each group had to create a campaign and each member choose to work on a certain elements for that said campaign. Our campaign was called 'Blue Side' with orange color and a modern look. Our aim was to avoid the typical depressed apocalypse theme that people usually use in most global crisis advertisement, and tried to reach people in a more common way.
The project was created to submit for AIGA Aspen Design Challenge, “Designing Water’s Future”. Our team wasn't one of the top seven projects, but we managed to get into the final seventeen, and received honorable mention. More information can be found from the link addressed below.
Also in the Science Museum, there's a huge circular scrolling LCD display talking about energy generation.

Another one from the beach shoot. :] I'm saving my favorite ones and the whimsical ones for last.
If you wanna try the editing I did on this, it can be found here. But be warned. It took me about 5 or 6 attempts to get it just right. I think it also depends on which photoshop you use because some of the steps it told you to use didn't exist with my photoshop. But it does look really cool, so it's worth a try. Oh, also! Another tip. Where it tells you to put the white spot, make sure you set that as another layer as well. That made it work for me. Enjoy!

During National Nurse Anesthesia Week 2014, Duke SRNAs (students from the Nurse Anesthesia program) conducted several community service and outreach projects. With money raised through coffee mug sales, they made and delivered 20 blankets to the Hock Family Pavilion, a Duke inpatient hospice facility. They provided breakfast for residents of both the Ronald McDonald House and the SECU House of Chapel Hill and completed cleaning projects at both facilities. Duke SRNAs braved the cold to sort and organize food donations at the Durham Food Bank and spent time at Saving Grace, a local dog rescue shelter in Wake Forest. They promoted the nurse anesthesia profession by talking with students at various high schools around the area and at Duke and UNC. They also staffed information tables at the Duke School of Nursing and the Duke Hospital cafeteria.
