Today Pip and I had a little meeting. We wanted to talk about how we were gonna test little Henrys appetite for cookies. If he liked cookies we had of course every intention of sharing with him but suddenly we got really worried. What if his stomach couldn’t handle the yummy goodness? We could never forgive ourselves if he’d get sick!
So we decided to bring together all our cookies and chocolates so that he wouldn’t eat one by mistake.
After Pip and I got back from our secret stashes we met up on neutral cookie territory and compared. It was quite amazing how much chocolate Pip had managed to hoard, I almost suspected that he had a secret supplier. We just wanted to put all the cookies in Pip’s treasure chest when the inevitable happened:
Henry walked by!
Lucky for us he seemed oblivious to our presents (maybe he was a bit shortsighted, he had used reading glasses after all), happily humming a tune, which gave me the opportunity to jump in front of the cookies and Pip to quickly close the treasure chest.
We only had Henry’s safety in mind of course!
The Crisis averted we thought it would only be fair to award ourselves with a piece of lifesaver chocolate.
Home energy saving kits are now available to borrow at all Dublin City Public Libraries.
The Home Energy Saving Kits have been developed by Dublin's energy agency Codema and contain six practical tools to help the public save energy at home. The items in the toolkits address three key areas of energy use in the home - space heating, hot water and electricity consumption - and can help identify common problems such as lack of insulation, poor ventilation and the appliances in the home that might be driving up electricity bills.
Spotted this back yard scene as I walked down the laneway. Made me think of Jim Croce's song Time in a Bottle . . . .
If I could save time in a bottle
The first thing that I'd like to do
Is to save every day
'Til eternity passes away
Just to spend them with you
When Bill Clinton gets kidnapped at a campaign rally, can Hillary, McCain and Obama set aside their differences to save the former president?

www.cashbackclub.net The Online World has grown to be synonymous with discount shopping. Lots more people are trying out the Internet in search of deals that normally can not be located thru conventional retail shopping. It is no question thate- commerce has undergone an dramatical growth relating to income generation over the last decade since very first web shops pioneered the online shopping market: The costs associated with owning a virtual store online is considerably lower than the costs associated with managing a regular " brick and mortar" shop in the " real world ". Online shops have considerably less expense, therefore they can pass these expenses savings to you, the customer.
Despite the truth that in several, but not all, circumstances, shopping on the web is normally cheaper than buying at a traditional shop, there are many of ways that we as shoppers can realize substantial cost savings by online shopping. There are many of ways in which we can spend less on-line. The # 1 consideration to remember that a result of the highly demanding nature of the Internet, not everything that you buy on the web is always a bargain. Take for instance your traditional shop. You may find that purchasing exactly the same merchandise on the web through the merchant's web store costs the same thing as acquiring the exact same item through their actual shop. As A Result, we as shoppers need to know how to seek out deals and discover the guidelines on how to spend less online. And those equipped with this information can have the opportunity to properly save thousands each year.
Here are some methods how you can not spend as much online:
1. Search for " Online only" product sales. Oftentimes, you will see that retailers offer product sales on the web that are not provided through their actual stores. Make sure to check with a retail shop's online internet site prior to heading over to the actual store.
2. Take the time to comparison shop. It will only take a few minutes to check out web sites of multiple competitors and make a price comparison and compare any sales currently going on.
3. Plenty Of websites provide online rebates, whether they are offered instantly at check out or are mailed to you. Don't forget to look for these.
4. A Lot Of internet websites offer " digital discount coupons ", commonly known as " promotional codes ", " discount codes ", or " offer codes ". To take benefit from these " digital discount coupons ", simply enter in the coupon code in the space supplied on the order form of the website.
5. Search for printable coupons on the internet which you can take with you to actual retailers. Just print out the coupon, cut it up with scissors, and take it with you to the retail store in order to get your cost savings. The good news about printable discount coupons is that you can print them in unlimited quantity. There is no " shortage " of coupons the way they will be if you were to obtain them from newspaper cuttings or magazines.
6. Online auction web pages are no doubt a great way to get deals on the web. You place an offer for the things offered at auction through the web site, and very often you can end up getting a veritable bargain.
7. Delivery is a thorny concern for many online shoppers. If you aren't doing your study and doing your price comparisons correctly, you may turn out paying much more for the merchandise when you look at the costs of shipping and delivery, or your expenses savings on the products may well end up being offset by the shipping costs, thus nullifying any possible costs savings you could have realized. If you are looking for ways how you can save money on the internet, you should shop at websites that offer free shipping as an bonus in exchange for something like meeting a particular minimum buck total with your purchase, or buying particular products, or signing up for the free trial of some other program along with your purchase.
8. Becoming a member of a discount club online is an alternate way to save money. While you would have to pay month-to-month or annual membership dues, you would be able to realize significant cost savings over time. Quite simply, the more money you spend, the more money you would save.
9. Buying things in big amounts on the internet normally helps to lower the cost of goods and services. This is easy to do online, because you don’t have to haul merchandise from the store to your car and to your house. Allow the merchant handle the delivery for you, right to your home.
There are many ways how you can save money on the internet. The above barely just skims the surface of what is possible on the web currently. The bottom line is that the World Wide Web can be quite a worthwhile vehicle to guide you to appreciate significant financial savings over time.
Leaving my office around 6:30 tonight felt like midnight. As I've mentioned before, my office is in a weird industrial park, about the creepiest place that you can imagine after dark. I had to take the trash out so the office wouldn't smell as though someone died in there over the weekend, and I'll admit, I jogged to my car from the dumpster.
