Sampler's only around at Cristmas time. Image from Seventy Years of the Garden Factory by Warwick Johnston. 2008. Book in my collection.
Wedding Sampler made in 2009. Chart adapted from one printed in "Cross Stitch Crazy" magazine. The finished product is always a tiny bit larger than an 8x10" frame. Stitched on 14count aida and adapted according to the personal details of the couple.
This sampler is an Irish Shamrock sampler. I stitched it while our youngest daughter was very much into Irish music -- she plays Irish flute. It features a sterling silver shamrock charm hanging in the center of the heart. I loved the design by the Sweetheart Tree.
Work in progress, nearing the halfway mark. 400 stitches in Jaeger Roma yarn in my stash knit-down effort. From "Folk Shawls" by Cheryl Oberle. It is really soft and I look forward to having it off the needles and blocked to see the full lace effect.

hmm... I know the middle 3 are the Sumbel Porter, Ægir India Pale Ale, and Rallar Amber Ale from left to right. I believe the far left is the Saison and the far right is the Altbier, but I had had quite a few by this point, so it's hard to remember now... The IPA was my favorite, though. Unfortunately all my favorites weren't available bottled at the time.

This is my Stars & Stripes Forever version of Oh Fransson's Mod Sampler Quiltalong: www.ohfransson.com/oh_fransson/quiltalong.html

Feeling beaten down by the 80+ degree heat and a five mile walk, we arrived at our first stop. Fortunately for us they had a LARGE sampler and a nice patio.
The cursive letter "A a" is hand embroidered and rests on machine stitched notebook paper-inspired lines. All this cuteness is done on a beautiful natural cotton and the other side is fabric I designed and had printed by Spoonflower on a wonderful linen/cotton blend. The lining is red polka dot cotton and the zipper is black. This pouch also features a brown ribbon handle.
These 3 bold fabrics work great together!
This zipper pouch is my own pattern, wider at the base makes it roomier inside. It measures 6" wide and 5" high.

Wedding Sampler stitched in 2009.
Design by me - using lots of basic designs and tweaked adaptations of celtic designs found in CrossStitcher magazine.
Mini space sampler - four tiles choosen from the 16 tiles original.
This was stitched for a dear friend of mine who studies astrophysics, and these four tiles were particularly meaningful to our friendship.
The larger sampler was designed by Geri Ambrose of The Mathyspere (bought on Etsy).
Stitched on 25 count black Lugana using 3 strands of DMC floss.
I changed the colour scheme of the Martian sky from blue to yellow to give it a stormy look.
