Mini space sampler - four tiles choosen from the 16 tiles original.
This was stitched for a dear friend of mine who studies astrophysics, and these four tiles were particularly meaningful to our friendship.
The larger sampler was designed by Geri Ambrose of The Mathyspere (bought on Etsy).
Stitched on 25 count black Lugana using 3 strands of DMC floss.
I changed the colour scheme of the Martian sky from blue to yellow to give it a stormy look.
Wine Tasting at the Anthonij Rupert Wyne. It turned out that we did not see a cheetah on the safari that followed our visit to Cape Town and the Cape Winelands.
Quick Red Fox + Snow White collection sampler.
Winners of the Red Fox Pillow Giveaway on my blog:
And the winners are:
Fox pillow of your choice (Sleepy Fox or Sneaky Fox): "I really like the sneaky fox! Your style is so unique, and creative!" --Jessica
Two mini pillows (Cold Shoulder Fox and Fox Face): "My son would LOVE these foxes! I envy your drawing skills and will add you to my Google Reader blogroll." --Holly U
Here's a new twist: Holly U can choose to instead to have the second large fox pillow (whichever one isn't chosen by Jessica), in which case, I'd pick a third winner for the two mini pillows.
Winners announced here have until May 31 to get in touch with me with their preferences and addresses (info at thenightgarden.com). Pillows will be mailed on June 1. If either winner doesn't get in touch with me by June 1, the prize is forfeited, and another winner will be selected from the hat and announced here.

It turns out I can't resist a sampler, and &Stitches is doing a June sampler-along ( andstitches.blogspot.com/2013/06/june-sampler-along.htm )
I ran out of the raspberry binding so I used a small piece of white to finish it, I think it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the quilt.
This beautiful sampler was completed by my grandmother in 1966. It is 15.5" x 22" on cream linen. It currently hangs in my 3-year-old son's room, but I will probably move it to a more prominent place in the house.
An arrangement of my specialty soaps. There are pure olive oils soaps at the top left, shampoo bars below them, hand soaps to the right of the shampoo bars, face soaps top right, and marsh mallow soaps between olive oil and face soaps. I use this picture to sell a 10 piece sampler in my shops. Makes nice thank you gifts.
For my sampler blanket - the first knitting project I started, but not the first I've finished. I've been working on it for a year and a half, and have only knit up half of the yarn. Plymouth Yarn's Encore 25% wool 75% acrylic.
I'm not so sure I really like the yarn, now that I've knit with wool/alpaca blends and Noro... but I do like that I've been able to grow and challenge my knitting skills by making each set of squares an excuse to learn a new pattern.
Wedding Sampler stitched in 2009 and clubbed together from various different basic designs mostly taken from CrossStitcher and copyright-free alphabets.
Caught up on the 365 Challenge Quilt Sampler today.
I think this might be my favorite of the blocks so far, just for graphic appeal.
