It took me three tries at this block before I was happy with it. The first two were just too busy for my taste.

I decided to re-make this one, as I just didn't really like the previous version.

From 1925 one old sampler from my family.

A set of seven beads, - five round beads,13mm to 14mm approximately,and two rondelles. All with silvered glass pattern.

I made this ribbon embroidery wedding sampler for my son and daughter-in-law. It was the first time I'd ever done ribbon embroidery. From the date on it, you can see that it is 10 years old.

Last night my brother in The Netherlands sent me this picture of a sampler I embroidered in the late seventies and early eighties. When I moved to Taiwan I didn't take it with me. I was afraid the climate here, which is very humid, would ruin the very fine muslin and yarn.
