DMC perle cotton #5 (?) on evenweave. I stitched this needlepoint sampler in the car on our vacation this past summer.

 

Stitch names added on 3 October, using names from The Embroidery Stitch Bible by Betty Barnden.

This active WIP has turned into an hibernating one due to poorly written instructions, mistakes and typo.

 

Might come back to it at a later date when other pressing projects are completed.

These are my 3 first squares for the sampler afghan. It's going slow cause the only time I have to crohet is at night and by that time I'm quite tired so I don't crochet that long. But that's ok I'll get there.

Shrimp Cocktail, Crispy Garlic-Pepper Zucchini, Loaded Idaho Potato Skins and Buffalo Chicken Tenders.

When I come to the end of a cane, I save the bits - can't bear to squish them up. Finally I used a whole bunch of them to make a frame. I love the way it turned out.

I decided to re-make this one, as I just didn't really like the previous version.

I decided to take a samples... and photos while I was brewing the other day :)

From 1925 one old sampler from my family.

A set of seven beads, - five round beads,13mm to 14mm approximately,and two rondelles. All with silvered glass pattern.
