Rebecca's Sampler designed by Betsy C. Stinner of Earth Threads. This was a class piece at the Celebration of Needlework in Nashua, NH in 2005. I love the frog in the spot motifs at the top. I also like the aged look of this linen. It is 32-count Autumn Blush Vintage Belfast linen by Zweigart. The threads are Sampler Threads by The Gentle Arts.
Featuring St George's cross stitch, ermine stitch, zigzag stitch, basket stitch, closed herringbone stitch, one-sided insertion stitch and two-sided insertion stitch.

This sampler was designed by Full Circle Designs and included many specialty stitches, some beads and two rows of flax that were couched into place. The berries at the bottom were constructed with beads. The large stars in the sky were done in a metallic braid. The fabric is linen. I love the eyelets in the tree at the bottom.
