Some process shots of my HST sampler quilt. Made a a prize for the winner of a fundraiser auction for my friend's doula co-op.
A sampler completed by my Great-Grandmother in 1860 when she was fourteen years. Its condition is due to the fact that before it was rescued by my father in the 1950s, his mother had been using it as a dish cloth! For Sarah Jones' gravestone see link below.

An opportunity to rejoice for both the iPod and the Unicode aficionado. When playing my wonderful Sampler Ⅲ playlist, the iPod correctly displays the Ⅲ which technically is Unicode 0x2162 aka ROMAN NUMERAL THREE.
First sampler for the masses, frequently circuit-bent. I was pleased to find a boxed and intact example at the Taplow car boot sale.
I joined the Sampler Quilt course taught by the inspirational Sara Cook @ my wonderful LQS Quilty Pleasures Brighton
Dinner at Aux Anciens Canadiens. The food was so good I went back for dinner too. It was absolutely delicious.
Sadly I couldn't get the camera to focus at all. I took 27 pictures and this was the clearest.

Supersampler + Fuji Sensia 200 Cross Processed.
My first trip to Kew Gardens for far too many years, and on an overcast, dull day - we made a beeline for the Palm House...
Taken with my lovely, lovely Supersampler - 4 lenses take 4 shots onto 1 negative over 2 seconds. Completely plastic, no control whatsoever and no viewfinder - you just wave it about and hope for the best!
