We had a small still life assignment at college to do based on Robert Mapplethorpe even though this doesn't look like his work we were to take on his view of how flowers are beautiful yet werid at the same time. I took the photo of the flower and edited in photoshop to give it this feel. I really wanted to bring out the texture, so I played around with the tools a bit and came up with this. Hope you like! :]
These images were made during a journey down Rustic Road 118, located in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, in Forest County on June 22, 2017.
R-118 begins in the historic logging town of Wabeno and travels through Native American lands and crosses several creeks.
Wisconsin's Rustic Roads system was created to preserve many of the state's scenic, lightly traveled country roads. Features of Rustic Roads include rugged terrain, native vegetation and wildlife, or open areas with agricultural vistas.

This was a view from my front room, looking into my kitchen on June 7, 2011. The colors were red-shifted by my phone compensating for it being darker than optimum. I think it makes it look "rustic".

its interesting because i wanted to lomo this pic... but the blue (now pink) bag refused to get dark in one of the filters lol so i just let it be lol.
Common location for wedding photography is this old window frame on the last remaining wall of an old house.
