One of my daily routine tasks every winter evening is to put rolled oats to soak in milk for the following morning's breakfast porridge.
Seen here under that rather yellow light of our kitchen.
The fisher men were pushing their boat towardes the sea while going for fishing & which is their routine job.
Simple routines like a daily bath in warm water can be taken for granted, not thinking of those smurfs who cannot do this.

Nothing serious to work on and limited time tonight, So decided to write about something that I often overlook but has become part of my work life!

On most mornings I have a routine, doing the same things I did the morning before. Once in a while, I take photos instead.
I'm a creature of habit, and if I don't put my keys in the same place, I'd spend half my life looking for them. Habits and routines go hand in hand and can be good, or not so good. But you get my drift.
It's a little like having an autopilot in our car. It allows us to do one thing while doing another. Again, nothing wrong with that unless we forget where we are going.
I guess my point is that it might be a good idea to step outside our comfort zone now and again to see where we are. For me, that means getting out to take photos. For you, it would be something completely different, but just as important.
Touching on the topic of documentary of the beginnings and endings of a relationship.
Developing on the idea of ghostly self-portraits the point of myself not fixed anywhere and things always changing that i wont be around for long.

Little video of a group of Oyestercatchers doing their courtship routine. A lot of them seem to nest in quiet meadows instead of coastal beach's, perhaps too many dog walkers there!
Outings for a girl like me are not all glamorous dressed-up occasions. Often I'm simply doing the routine jobs, like food shopping. These routine outings become decidedly more interesting when Emma takes on the task.
For today's household supplies shopping I wore these jeans and jumper, as almost every woman does this time of year. Understated make-up helped me blend in without a single problem.
Footnote: Though I took my shopping list, I did find time to deviate into the clothes shop next door. It's a valid perk for doing the food shopping, no?

Every day, early in the morning this man searched the water for coins or jewelry that the pilrims would throw in. He would walk back and forth, looking carefully in the water and on shore, to see if anyome was throwing anything in.
This mallard was going through a bathing routine, dunking under the eater and preening its feathers.
Then it stretched its head way back.
Interesting to watch.

Ducks are strong fliers; migrating flocks of Mallards have been estimated traveling at 55 miles per hour.
The standard duck’s quack is the sound of a female Mallard. Males don’t quack; they make a quieter, rasping sound.
