The theme for this weeks Macro Mondays is My Daily Routine.
The very first thing I do when I get up every morning, is take my vitamins. I take them when I get up so as not to forget, therefore this qualifies as a routine.
I take two vitamins, a D3 capsule, and a "mature" multivitamin. Apparently my age is what qualifies me to take the mature vitamin. I guess I am old relatively speaking. I don't feel that old, but I don't feel that young either.
Physically I am doing alright, not requiring any medications daily. And mentally I'm probably average for my age. Although when I read what I just wrote about how I might forget to take my vitamins were it not for this routine I realize that I probably am old.
I am not dead yet. I'm feeling better, I think I'll go for a walk.
HMM.

Last night I had one of the funniest dream ever. I was in the 50s, in my house, and I was watching at a sort of real comedy involving my grandparents. They are usually hilarious people and watching them in their youth was better than any situation comedy! I couldn't be seen and I totally enjoyed that Italian 50s atmosphere. So when I woke up I wore my authentic 50s lingerie and shot these. I was too undecided about which one to post...so I posted both :)

For Macro Monday's - My Daily Routine
I usually have one cup of coffee a day and this is my favourite flavour.
Last Autumn I posted a few photos taken from my front door in Northwest Washington DC. I had better luck at home than I had at the various parks and gardens I routinely visit.
That is being repeated again in 2025 ..... this week I saw this Downy Woodpecker.
I love Brooklyn. Nothing can shake our routine. Not even any disaster or pandemic. Nothing. Nothing can shake our spirit. Despite all the flaws no place is more inspiring than Brooklyn. ♥️ It feels so comfortable here. Feels like home among “my people”. And by my people I don’t mean Russian people I mean people who grew up here. Who are immigrants or have families who moved here or just grew up here. Sometimes I wonder if people who grew up in Brooklyn can actually feel like themselves elsewhere. Is that really possible? Anyways ... I really love Brooklyn & inspiration it brings into people’s lives. More than we will ever realize or know ♥️♥️

A daily routine of me is to charge all the nifty electronic devices, which I think I can't live without, even I survived the first decades of my life without them quite well.

It was so lovely to photography the daily routine of a working station and the extra bonus was the fog. Olga
I had commented yesterday to a Flickr friend on his photo of Bee Balm that ours did not grow this year for some reason. Low and behold, I was wrong. The bee balm is starting to grow.

Beyond the sweat and the routine lies the sublime. Stop for a second, look back, and let the beauty of the moment remind you why you started
not only does the destination remain the same each day, it's also always the same silence our hearts will use to greet people. whether is it the familiar or the nt so familiar, communications cease to exist in this new age where people live in no where more than a world of their own.
My bedtime routine includes eye drops, lip salve, handcream and a chapter or two of a book.

Happy Thanksgiving!
The Thanksgiving holiday is always a good time to pause from our daily routines and think about all the things we have to be grateful for.
For me, first and foremost, I’m thankful for my family and friends. I’m happy that our son is doing so well (he’s engaged!), and I’m especially fortunate to have been married to the same wonderful, beautiful woman for over 35 years.
And I’m very grateful for all the support I receive from everyone here on Flickr!. Thank you!
Whether or not you celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you all have a lot to be thankful for!
Recently, I haven't done a close up like this so I wanted to try it out and while I was at it I decided to connect with the camera and make eye contact. My eyes are actually green.
I have 2 big shoots tomorrow, including my Hansel and Gretel shot that I've been planning. I'll also have someone filming behind the scenes with me!
