On top of the old Kowloon City Mall, where people used to watch planes land when the old Kai Tak airport was in operation. Back then, there were no tall buildings such as these in this photo.

In Seoul's historic, leafy Bukchon district, a rooftop space for basketball among the upswept tile roofs of the 'hanok' houses... (iPhone4, snapseed, colorsplash)

The Pinnacle at Duxton HDB complex has a great skydeck, open to the public at a cost of $5. They have fitted it out with some themed viewing stations that integrate nicely with the architecture. This is the beach theme.
