The rooftops of Prague, myriad of architectural style create an inviting photograph. These are in the "Old Town" section of the city, just south of Old Town Square.

One of my favourite places in Melbourne is the Rooftop Cinema.

It's a bar most of the time, but they do show films in the summer. Mostly they show the old greats, but I've only been for the drink and the view, and never a screening.

In the ghetto, I was surprised to see a house with a rooftop garden. It makes sense since it would keep the place cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The best part is that it matches the old paint on the building. Soon, the plants shall take over the entire house!

this is 'a' bull riding, the cowboy that is, a 1800# animal. fortunately he came out with minor injuries although the next rider was off in a ambulance with what possibly looked like a broken leg, this guys are pretty brave and most, but not all, now use helmets and vests for partial protection.

Many of Kathmandu's rooftops are flat. Some afford excellent views of the Himalayas, particularly during the winter months. Others offer unexpected delights, such as this nursery.
