no really though, some lady got killed by her boyfriend in our mall's parking structure not long after it was made. we live in such a brutal world.
On top of the old Kowloon City Mall, where people used to watch planes land when the old Kai Tak airport was in operation. Back then, there were no tall buildings such as these in this photo.

A photo of haphazard Paris rooftops during a dramatic sunset. Taken in the St.Germain neighbourhood using a 5DIII on 24-105 f4 lens. Originally bracketed this as an HDR but the new 5D is doing such a great job of taking in the range of light that I went with single exposure.
The Estrela Basilica (Portuguese: Basílica da Estrela), or Royal Basilica and Convent of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, is a basilica and ancient carmelite convent in Lisbon, Portugal, built by order of Queen Maria I of Portugal, as a fulfilled promise for giving birth to a son (José, Prince of Brazil). The official name of the church is the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Construction started in 1779 and the basilica was finished in 1790, after the death of José caused by smallpox in 1788.
