Rooftop houses seen from another rooftop in Kwun Tong. Most of the houses are vacant as the building will be torn down and redeveloped next year.
The amazing former FIAT rooftop test course in Turin. The original "Italian Job" with its racing Mini Coopers featured this course rather prominently.
Karachiites have learned to live without necessities, sleeping under the sky on the rooftops has become a norm. You would be surrounded by the lights all around (huge lights of National Stadium & Office lights of SSGC) but this country doesn't really believe in providing lower middle class with enough electricity so they can sleep sound at night to get back to 9 to 5 jobs.
This is the picture taken on rooftop of residential building at the load shedding time. I am sure you can imagine the frustration one goes through when load shedding is only targeted towards the people who would have two fans and two bulbs (generally are replaced by energy savers to avoid unaffordable bills) So the reality is absolutely opposite to what you see in the picture.

Had the pleasure of meeting some photographers who's work I've been following for years (I'm talking 'bout you guys, Lexi, Anna, and Emily!), as well as meeting so many new people who are really fantastic artist themselves. I didn't take a whole lot of photos because I was a little shy, which I regret, but it was an amazing day and I'd love to do it all over again.
Taken in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. The small tower in the foreground is called a "mirador". Sort of a lookout spot or a widow's walk.
Rudolph and Dasher seem raring to take off this roof with Santa's Sleigh. These grand figures (perhaps 15' high) were perched on a large building in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I believe they were put in place with a crane.
Couldn't believe how many starlings where sitting on this rooftop looking to fill every available space. I took this shot from my front room window as it was raining outside and I didn't want to miss the opportunity !!
