this is 'a' bull riding, the cowboy that is, a 1800# animal. fortunately he came out with minor injuries although the next rider was off in a ambulance with what possibly looked like a broken leg, this guys are pretty brave and most, but not all, now use helmets and vests for partial protection.
Many of Kathmandu's rooftops are flat. Some afford excellent views of the Himalayas, particularly during the winter months. Others offer unexpected delights, such as this nursery.
I almost posted this last night as my 365 photo of the day . . . but I had already committed to making my car the hero of the day.
I am a lover of sunsets and sunrises and sometimes become a little obsessed by them! They hold me captive until they disappear I and find them so incredibly beautiful.
If I see one and don't have my camera in hand (which won't be the case from now on because its permanently by my side) I get incredibly disappointed that I wasn't able to capture it.
Last night I was working away on my mac and when I glanced out the window, I saw pink streaks and the beginnings of what I knew would be a brilliant sunset.

I'm like a kid in a lolly shop when nature puts on a display like this! I never tire of seeing one!

Another building around the Galata Tower with a rooftop terasse.. this one looks nice with a lot of flowers and umbrellas
Blowing snow off of a downtown Moncton rooftop today at lunch time.
It was a very cold day today here in Moncton: -20C or less. We are definitely in the deep freeze this week. Weather forecasters are saying this week will be the coldest week of the winter.
I was out walking for a bit today at lunch, and this view caught my eye so I took a video of it with my iPhone. I like how the wind currents catch the snow.
