Blowing snow off of a downtown Moncton rooftop today at lunch time.
It was a very cold day today here in Moncton: -20C or less. We are definitely in the deep freeze this week. Weather forecasters are saying this week will be the coldest week of the winter.
I was out walking for a bit today at lunch, and this view caught my eye so I took a video of it with my iPhone. I like how the wind currents catch the snow.

A friend asked me if I could shoot some pictures of him. Of course I agreed and we met on the rooftop for a quick session. It was very cold but we had a nice and clear blue sky, some sun from the side and thus I needed only a single flash in a softbox as fill light. I'm quite happy with the results.
Had to try my new toy back in Chile on my awesome rooftop!! But the thing now is I'm kind of scared to take my 5D with me everywhere like I use to with my good old Olympus E-30..
Anywho.. I'll take it out on a ride this week for sure!! In the meantime here are a couple of shots from my last trip to Montreal, Qc and a a couple of pics in Santiago de Chile.. Cheers!!
