We obtained the building permit and handled all inspections. We obtained approval from the Homeowner's Association to proceed with the work. We saw cut and removed the existing driveway which was cracked and deteriorated. We removed all debris from the premises. We fully compacted all soil. We poured the new driveway with 4000 PSI concrete with fiber mesh reinforcement. We hand troweled the concrete with a double boom finish. We cut all expansion joints accordingly.
Entergy of Mississippi is replacing a few old utility poles with new ones along North Jackson Street in Brookhaven, Mississippi on Sunday, May 23, 2021.
According to two linemen, there was a utility pole that is located on the corner of North Jackson Street and West Monticello Street that had been struck by a vehicle so they had to replace it and since they were going to work within this area, they might as well replace a few of the other poles that are along North Jackson Street.
Entergy had not only replaced a few of the poles, they had also replaced the old copper wires that had reached the end of their service life with shiny new aluminum lines.
