Corgi BET Federation Leyland Leopard in 1:76th Scale repainted to represent a Greater Manchester PTE vehicle.
Although GMPTE operated similar vehicles through acquisitions nothing was owned that was exact to this casting, hence it will form part of my fictional arm of the PTE fleet on my model railway layout.
Twin dolls for me and a friend! Mina (pink dress) is the cutie while her sister Ahri (red dress) is at least 3x sassier.

Heading towards Bristol with another ex Plymouth parcels train. This loco had transferred in March 93 from NSE to the Parcels sector hence the livery at the time. It would get a repaint into the RES red livery not long after this.
I wasn't going to upload these photos due to their low quality (Thanks to a very bright sun) but i thought they might be some what useful at showing off the repaint more. Note the local branding.

But I'm really happy how she turned out and I forgot how much fun it is to repaint these dolls! ♥ I think I will repaint our whole collection in the future because they are so, so cute and I'm feeling bad about neglecting them so much~

Ever since I saw the vintage Ken dolls I wished that there was a red haired version. I just adore red heads (I have been one many times in my life. lol) So this is what I came up with.
This guy will probably end up on Ebay in the next few days. I will let you know when and where.

Step one was getting the materials. I had some paints, media and brushes already from back in summer of 2008 when I took a shot at painting new lips on "Buffy" the Sunday's Very Best Blythe doll www.flickr.com/photos/shiphorns/2567940583/in/set-7215760..., but I rounded out the setup with a new 10/0 liner and some Liquitex paint and flow media that A.C. Moore had 40% off.
