What'do you guys think so far?I opted for really colorful makeup and a young cutesy expression.Yay or Nay?
Now blogged: blythemode.com/blog/?p=157
Step one was getting the materials. I had some paints, media and brushes already from back in summer of 2008 when I took a shot at painting new lips on "Buffy" the Sunday's Very Best Blythe doll www.flickr.com/photos/shiphorns/2567940583/in/set-7215760..., but I rounded out the setup with a new 10/0 liner and some Liquitex paint and flow media that A.C. Moore had 40% off.
I bought one more rare appeal to repaint the face and donate the body to my beloved heatseeker Nat. So i first swapped the bodies , and then i gave Domi a partial repaint (lips, irises, cheeks, toned down eyebrows and a beauty mark) .i wanted to go for nude lips but i discovered that they need to be somewhat defined, otherwise she looks totally botoxed, lol!
So i went for a quasi nude -natural brownish, and light grey-blue for the irises.
Problem is that now i like her and i want to give her her body back. But i also looooove Nat on it. So... i thing i need a third body... Heeelp, this will never stop!!!
Cet aprem j'ai repaint ma MH fraichement achetée ^^ C'est fou comme on peut changer les choses! Bon, c'est parti pour le reroot!
Cool and Cold, but very hot face!!! This is what a good makeup can do for our dolls.... This girl is from OD Doll by Oleg Petrenko.

Still not the best as I think... neither the eyes.
Need to redo again but I'm happy that I improve my DD face-up skill.
But I need more time.... T.T
Just another photo of my repaint... I'm getting ready to list these guys on ebay and I'm a little nervous about it. I've never sold a repaint before XD
So I have been wanting to do some doll repaints for a while now but I wasn't sure what dolls I wanted to do them on and then I saw people customizing Monster High dolls and I really love their face shapes and their lips and I decided to try it out. This is originally a Draculaura doll and she is my first custom repaint. She is still awaiting her wig. After I get it I will post more photos.
I've enjoyed doing this so much that I am going to be doing a lot more ^^ and as I get better and if people are interested I will probably start making some to sell.
Looks like Tansy is still a sweater and leggings kind of girl! This is the outfit I had her in when she was on the Made To Move body. I wish I had photos to compare because she does look different! Same outfit, totally different poise on the FR body.
The sweater is an unknown vintage Barbie (my sister’s.) The leggings are Funville.
I've never done a reroot OR repaint before, but I think she came out alright for my first attempt.
This wasn't planned, I actually had no choice Lol.
I bought this doll originally from tuesday morning, and when I opened her up...my goodness...
This doll had the absolute WORST case of glue seepage I have ever seen. Her hair from roots to end was sticky and clumpy and horrible. So I decided to reroot her.
BUT
While I was boiling her head so that I could pop it off, somehow her face paint rubbed off.
So as a result, I had to repaint her face as well.
Let me know what ya think!! I tried my best to save her
I've finally finished my sweet Momoko. She was a 'Go for Victory' but I knew right from the beginning that I would customize her as soon as possible. It took me quite some time to finish her but now I'm so happy! She's my second Momoko repaint and I was trying new techniques and colours. It was an adventure for sure but it was worth it. So now she has new hair and a new face, she needs a name! I have a few names in my mind but I still can't decide which one would suit her best >///<

1051 mid-repaint with the middle panels etch primed as the layer of paint on these came off with the advert frames.
Snowflake's alternate outfit, a miniature crochet dress. It has functioning buttons. =3

It's good to be home after a long trip and I've been making up for the lost time with my dolls. Remi and Minimalist Dasha arrived the day I came back but I had trouble bonding with them. After posting a FS ad and getting no replies I got one of my repainting frenzies again and the two newcomers got new looks. Remi got a repaint and hairstyling, Dasha a bodyswap to NF, hairstyling and a repaint, and Eugenia was happy to snatch up her FR2 body. She looks absolutely fabulous squared, this body just enhances the beauty of any doll that gets it.
This is a repaint that I did for a client. It's base on the Moldy Crow card art from the X-Wing game. For some reason the art shows the ship as a light grey instead of brown. I like this scheme much better,
