I decided Laguna could use a repaint too... mine had a pretty bad paint job anyhow. I gave her a little fishy tattoo because I thought it might be cute XD
It's good to be home after a long trip and I've been making up for the lost time with my dolls. Remi and Minimalist Dasha arrived the day I came back but I had trouble bonding with them. After posting a FS ad and getting no replies I got one of my repainting frenzies again and the two newcomers got new looks. Remi got a repaint and hairstyling, Dasha a bodyswap to NF, hairstyling and a repaint, and Eugenia was happy to snatch up her FR2 body. She looks absolutely fabulous squared, this body just enhances the beauty of any doll that gets it.
This is a repaint that I did for a client. It's base on the Moldy Crow card art from the X-Wing game. For some reason the art shows the ship as a light grey instead of brown. I like this scheme much better,
My first attempt at a dry brushing over the hair of David. It's messy upon the close up photography, so I'll need to get an even tinier brush and try to get some more detailing in there, particularly around the hairline, but I think the coloring is better. I figured I'd try it on this sculpt first, as I won't likely use this one so much. Not bad for a first attempt, but I have work to do to make this better.
Have since made a different skirt for her. IT top. Coincidentally both Wedding Belle and Pretty in Polynesia have the sun-kissed skin tone. Have not done too much post-processing, hence the reflection in her eye.

After buying two fashiondollhouse repaints (ebay) that seemed like they could be sisters, I decided to add this girl to their family. She's wearing a Monaeglow (ebay) gown, which doesn't quite fit on her East 59th body (that bust is HUGE), but I managed to get it pinned up. I forget where the gloves are from, and her earrings and necklace are lovelygirl from ebay.
When I saw this girl in a store I just knew I had to buy her!! ♡
(Clawdeen is my favorite scupt but Howleen is like a smaller and cuter version of her! >w<)

I hit quite a number of snags with this one, but I like how she finally came out. if you haven't kind of guessed, I painted her to look like she might actually come from Tibet, as Yetis are part of Tibetian/Himalayan mythology. she's probably my favourite character on the show, and I wanted to pay tribute to her heritage, so to speak.
I felt a bit of a twinge wiping her because I know she's pretty hard to come by and heaps of people want her. but I really do like her the way she is now.
though...I might sell her. idk.
he Barbie shoes need to be customized! They came in one color usually pink and look so boring! I tried to reveled the models of the shoes by repainting them.
