As a kid, I once made my mom stand in this corridor for over an hour to watch the shadows dance against the floor and walls. Every time I have visited since, the fascination still remains.

Now maybe I'll remember. If you have a Capresso Infiniti and you're using a Hario V60 with a 60-90 sec. pre-infusion, that's the setting I'd recommend. Tasty results should ensue. ... More...

When I came upon the river, I was reminded of the father I lost to cancer. Many of my most vivid memories of the man are tied to the time he and I spend in the forest near Haliburton and a long walk in the wilderness has always been a way to reconnect with him. While we so often explore the symbiotic relationship we have with the environment in a physical way, we often neglect how emotionally and psychologically connected we are to the land we live in.
Saturday 10th November 2018 was the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One. It was commemorated in Carlisle with special events around the city under the banner 'Carlisle Remembers 1918'

Saturday 10th November 2018 was the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One. It was commemorated in Carlisle with special events around the city under the banner 'Carlisle Remembers 1918'
10th Annual Run to Remember 5k and Half Marathon races July 29 on Panzer Kaserne co-hosted by 1st Battalion, 10th Special Forces Command (Airborne) and the USAG-Stuttgart, FMWR team.
