I know Lisa, that your grief is profound. So perhaps this little offering for Mo may help a bit. Mo, was close to Bob, Mike Scott and myself as he was for many, many others. And each are doing what they can to reflect and remember their times with this amazing soul on the planet, however, brief it may have been.
I wanted to let you know that my wife, Elizabeth and I went to Salmon Creek, in Bodega Bay, California, to place several photos remembering Mo, two of them from New Years, with rose pedals in the surf, and I read a brief passage taken from his response to one of his poems.
We then watched the ocean as it escorted him on his journey. Having two small shot glasses we finished with a toast of Scotch in his memory. I think he would have liked this small gesture of a closing ritual. With love and Peace in Memory,

I just heard about this gathering from a friend who heard about this from his brother. A group of people decided to get together to remember the ones who passed away that tragic day. We prayed, sang, and shared feelings with eachother. Although at the beginning I felt a little awkward about being there with a camera and tripod I quickly over came that feeling when I realized I needed to record this special time. Although we only met briefly it was nice to make a few new friends and feel the aloha.

March 28, 2022 - Goodale Park Fountain designed by award winning sculpture and professor at the Ohio State University Malcolm Cochran. The late Paul Cianelli and his partner Bruce Dooley helped to sponsor a competition for the fountain sculpture in 2002. Paul and I were in the same graduating class at The Ohio State University and worked at DesignGroup together.
On Wednesday April 2, 2014 as part of a national action. Tesoro members held an informational picket in remembrance of their fallen brothers and sisters from the fatal Anacortes Refinery explosion.
