Her hand looked HORRIBLE, so I just replaced the original painting with this one - same thing only hand IN POCKET!! Whewww - I feel better now.
"I remember when we first met, how your eyes held the mystery of a million dreams and how I wished I knew whatever it was that made you smile. And...so slowly, I learned the language of your love by listening to the poetry of your soul and when I heard you speaking the same language as me, I knew that you were the one that I would follow into every tomorrow and never look back.' -Mark Anthony
8 months. Is it really possible that 8 months have passed without "us". YOU live in my heart. No matter what I am doing, my mind and heart wanders back to YOU. They have no choice. It is YOU. We have only one life, my sweetness...only one life that we can write the story of. We have only one life to share love...only one life to be blessed with nothing but love. Our connection will never fade. It will continue long after tomorrow ends...until eternity...and forever after.
I miss YOU, love of my life. The silence is enveloping everything. How do I continue not to have YOU with me? Make me understand.
Oh, how I miss YOU. How I feel YOU all around me.
8 months...8 months without hearing your voice.
My prayers surround YOU. My love goes with YOU even though I cannot. "Make me believe". Adagio. I love YOU. Longer than always.
It is so hot now, it is difficult for me to remember the sweet freshness of Spring. I am so ready for fall and winter right now!

Garren will always be missed. He loved nature and wildlife and was simply a caring and decent human being. Self-portrait teken October 8, 2007 by Garren.

Remember when we vowed the vows
and walked the walk
gave our hearts, made the start, it was hard
We lived and learned, life threw curves
There was joy, there was hurt
Remember when
Remember when old ones died and new were born
And life was changed, disassembled, rearranged
We came together, fell apart
And broke each other's hearts
Remember when ..
on Fathers' Day 2016. The day I was born (June 18) was also my Dad's birthday and Fathers' Day. One of the best memories with Dad was the day he and my mother and I drove my Plymouth Roadrunner on the back road to the top of Scout Mountain near Pocatello, Idaho. I was home on leave after basic and advanced training in the Army and would leave for Vietnam in about two weeks. We had some of our best moments as a family that day which we always remembered as we celebrated Dad's and my birthdays.
