Reflection shot I took of a building in Cape Town being renovated.

I tried the polariser and the reflection was thanks to a tour bus standing across the road from the building.

Date : 02 April 2011

Location : Cape Town CBD, Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa

The BACK of a private car's mirror was so smooth that it seemed like a mirror

Then out to the beach to get my favorite reflection shots.

HDR bracketing, 3-stop 3-shot. Hamilton Lakes park! Loved the reflections. Shot at ISO 100, f22, shutter around 1/3 sec.

Near the Bean in Millennium Park, we are too cool to take the normal reflection shots.

Interesting reflection shot from a train station entrance / exit

So I'm shooting these serene mirror like reflection shots of the Lesser Blue Heron, and the Tri-color Heron who was on the other side of the pond decides he wants some attention too! LOL! Boom, there he was in the view finder, bigger than Dallas. I'm glad he flew in, because I think one of the shots I got of him, may be an all time fave for me. I'm getting ready to post it. Can I get a drum roll please? LOL!!

Again, I am so blessed to live here in Brandon, FL. There is just so much beauty in nature here! I can't get enough! Thanks for viewing!

A reflection shot based off a pose from a Nikon D80 ad I saw in PopPhoto. Harder to do than I thought it would be but I'll do it again.

This came alright, pose wise. The color though is all shot to hell. If someone can explain to me how to fix the white balance on this I'd really appreciate it.

Fear not, I recently purchased Understanding Exposure and as soon as Amazon gets it to me, I'll begin to understand this whole light business.

Well you know, try to understand it at any rate.

Lots of other reflection shots yet to come.

One of several reflection shots by the Otter Creek, this bank created the most magical pattern, to me almost like the head of a ram...

I've always been drawn to reflection shots, especially if there's several layers of people (on each side of the glass and in reflection) to give the image some depth. The guys arm up over his head is what drew me to the shot, and having 'burt' walk by at an opportune time helped...

Another reflection shot for dave & dave...maybe.

the reflection shots suck! But the rest was worth a shot!

Project 365 - Day 1 Reflection...

Got to love a reflection shot

My son wanted me to get a shot of his pet snake, Peanut. He was lying next to the glass and so I got a great reflection shot. The red tone of the shot is from his heat light.

I'm not sure why the last few days have been so perfect and beautiful for reflection shots, I'm thankful!

My reflection shot off of Rhyans sunglasses

A little under exposed and the white was not giving off the reflection I was hoping for on the clear Plexiglas. Guess I might have to buy the real thing to get reflection shots with white. I had to use a brush and under expose the reflection.

Shoot though left and right
