So I'm shooting these serene mirror like reflection shots of the Lesser Blue Heron, and the Tri-color Heron who was on the other side of the pond decides he wants some attention too! LOL! Boom, there he was in the view finder, bigger than Dallas. I'm glad he flew in, because I think one of the shots I got of him, may be an all time fave for me. I'm getting ready to post it. Can I get a drum roll please? LOL!!
Again, I am so blessed to live here in Brandon, FL. There is just so much beauty in nature here! I can't get enough! Thanks for viewing!

Detailed the Clio 200, ready for the ClioSport Saturday event on the 30th July 2011.
These photos were taken before, during and after the 2nd layer of wax was applied. (3rd layer of wax due to be applied later)
A reflection shot based off a pose from a Nikon D80 ad I saw in PopPhoto. Harder to do than I thought it would be but I'll do it again.
This came alright, pose wise. The color though is all shot to hell. If someone can explain to me how to fix the white balance on this I'd really appreciate it.
Fear not, I recently purchased Understanding Exposure and as soon as Amazon gets it to me, I'll begin to understand this whole light business.
Well you know, try to understand it at any rate.
THIS PICTURE IS NOT FOR THE REFLECTION ASSIGNMENT~ From The Bar Harbor Set www.flickr.com/photos/robertlz/sets/72157594153166804/
I've always been drawn to reflection shots, especially if there's several layers of people (on each side of the glass and in reflection) to give the image some depth. The guys arm up over his head is what drew me to the shot, and having 'burt' walk by at an opportune time helped...
Project 365 - Day 1 Reflection...
Shot while procrastinating I actually went out to mow the lawn but was feeling a bit more creative.
Reflections shot through a piece of beamsplitter glass. These are not double exposures or photoshop composites.
This is the first of the building reflections (shot from the airport shuttle) in Minneapolis. I've taken & will take tons of them(^_^;).
Teton Reflections. Shot 08-06-2010 The image measures 5605 x 3731. Stitched with CS5 finished with LR3. The image was captured with a Canon 5D MK2 with a 40mm @ f 22 with an average exposure time of about 1/320 sec. ISO 6400.
This is your poor old Sidney snipe as opposed to Jack snipe, which is one of the commonest questions I'm asked.
This has been deliberately taken showing it's natural habitat in amongst the reeds, where it's camouflage is amazing and to me, adds interest to the composition.
To the doubters, I have literally hundreds of shots of them isolated in water, surrounded by even more water, which I find rather boring, although really good reflection shots are ok :-)
See, if the lake had water.... this could have been a great reflection shot!
Looks best large in Lightbox mode.

This reflection of the parade taken the may 24th parade, shows the distorted shapes and colors of the bystanders

This evening, I went into Winston-Salem to my office to pick up mail. Since I had my camera and tripod, I decided to prowl around for some vantage points for photos of the downtown area.
The sky turned ominous and lightning began flashing. This led to a downpour and then a clearing out of the clouds.
This image is actually NOT toned. It is a reflection shot in the gold reflective glass of the Piedmont Federal Savings Bank on 3rd and Liberty. I loved the wonderful color and luminosity of the buidlings (Winston Tower which used to be the old Wachovia building and RJR/Reynolds American).
