I tried some reflection shots in the cool glasses Danny decided to borrow from Marte. This was the only one that turned out good, the others had blurry reflections.

This was a reflection shot taken at London Fashion Week event at Somerset House. These people were looking at a model just out of view.

I was taking reflection shots of the Ducks when this flew by, missed it at first because the lens did not react fast enough, Well worth an early trip before the rain comes in.

Strange reflections.
Shot on very old Kodak VPS (expired April '94) using the Lensbaby Composer on the Nikkormat FTN. The colors on this film are muted and a bit strange, and obviously there's a ton of grain.
What a fun trip - Hanalai on the north shore of Kauai is such a beautiful place when it is not raining! I was there over Thanksgiving 2011 just to chill out. Most of the photos are from Hanalai Bay - a great place to relax, read, people watch, and the sunsets were incredible. This is definitely another place to go back to!

I really enjoy reflection shots. They have a lot of potential when it comes to HDR, because of the great extremes of lighting. I guess if blue hour is a common after sunset occurrence, then this purple sky may have had to do with all the red in the surrounding landscape. I know I’ve done a lot of photos recently of this place, but they just turned out so well.
