So I haven't done a 'sunglasses' reflection shot yet...and it HAD to be done. Bruce and I were enjoying a lovely evening at the Bye and Bye (scene of our first date) and the most douche-tastic guy was sitting at the table next to us. Super-drunk, beyond rude and stupid - we decided he was prince of the hipster-doofuses, all around bad news (don't even get me started). He and his posse left (finally!) and darn, he left his rayban aviators. So I put them to good use and now they are Bruce's (and yes, we disinfected them.)
What seemed like an endless number of chupitos, they were presented on a wooden stick, with a hinge at the bottom...they disappeared shortly after.
Note: This is NOT my original work; these are photos of posters at the Portage Visitors Center. I don't know who the original photographers are, but I admire their work! Taken in September 2007.

There were a whole series of these paste ups around Montreal - more to come. Just like the reflection shots!
71/365. Mirror reflection shot, the background was a white wall and got too overexposed, decied to mix it up a little and add some colour. :)

I think one may not truly realize how difficult a good reflection shot can actually be to capture... erg!
I don't think I've ever had the opportunity to take a good reflection shot. This was 3 handheld bracketed shots taken while I was trying to catch a turtle for dinner. With a .22. I combined the images with PS in hopes I could keep from having black blobs and huge hot spots, and it worked decently well. I thought about doing some more PP work but mother nature did plenty - who am I to try to improve?
The best part about going out early to shoot is that the wind hasn't picked up yet. This helped me get some reflection shots in the pond near where I live.
These reeds are cast against the shadowed backdrop of trees about 20 yards behind them. The water looks black because it is picking up the same reflection. All in all I am pretty happy with this shot.
Shot with my Sony DSLR-A100 with a tripod mounted Tamron 200-400mm with an effective focal length of 540mm.
Okay, it is a statue, but I liked the reflection. Shots from a recent trip to Jeju Island, South Korea.

No photoshop - it was 7:30 am on a Sunday and I managed to get a reflection shot off the Bean with absolutely nobody else in the background!
Post-processing: Curve adjustments and selective sharpening of the reflection.
Shot with a Tamron 90mm macro.
This type of reflection shot has been very common lately, especially when flipped vertically. I tested it out with this too but the shot just didn't work with her shoes still in the frame.
Shot on Pentax Super A with 50/2.8 Macro & Neopan 1600. Loving the look!
Kuvattu Neopan 1600-filmille, mahtava lookki!

Not quite the reflection shot I wanted, but didn't have much time for this shot as this Little Egret was aware of my presence and about to take to the air as soon as the shutter button was pressed Photo taken @ Mordiford 28.7.23

Walking along the Thames path from Twickenham to Richmond. Minutes earlier the path was submerged. As the tide receded there were some great reflection shots to be had.
