I thought that getting a reflection shot may be more interesting than a straightforward shot of the girl.
Just got back from my holidays in Wisconsin where I had a wonderful peaceful relaxing time. Thought I'd upload a couple of interesting reflection shots that I took last month while I go through all of the fall leaf pictures. If it's not clear what they are, the tags will explain it.
Detailed the Clio 200, ready for the ClioSport Saturday event on the 30th July 2011.
These photos were taken before, during and after the 2nd layer of wax was applied. (3rd layer of wax due to be applied later)

These were shot when working on this week's challenge for 52Frames. The theme was Unfinished, with the Extra Challenge of a Photographer Generator. Clicking on this gave me the photographer Ernst Haas(1921–1986) to emulate.
I was particularly taken with his work in New York using reflections.
Two of these show the unfinished work on the Brighton Odeon, and playing with reflections in the frontage of the Brighton Centre.
The other two are purely reflections, one in the Brighton Centre, the other in the i360.
We have to do portraits for Art 208. And I didnt have any photos to work on. So I made all these black and white

Another reflection shot from the Yosemite trip. We got up early in the morning to get into Yosemite National Park. We saw this lake on the way and decided to take a few snaps of this scene. I really like the reflection and the calmness in the picture.

A reflection shot of my new flash ring. Blackened the surround to remove me and the cable. Needed to blend a reversed image to remove part of the ring housing the cable mount

Funny Story. She played with my camera for about ten minutes and said 'hey look at what i took!' I looked at them and was confused because she wasn't in any of the photos. 'um...you are not in any of these!' 'loser, i was creeping like you did and took shots of the girl behind us'.
She is crazy. Anyways, here is her very own reflection shot. =]

If I had to pick one of these window reflection shots, it'd prob be this one. It shows a little more reality and a little less reflection.
Any iPod owner who says they haven't taken completely random reflection shots of their pod like this is a goddamn liar -- the iPod, she is irresistible!

I replaced the original photo with one that was more a true reflection. I was simply trying to capture the graffiti that lines the tunnels of the metro. i wasn't really looking at the reflection... As the graffiti was motion blurred anyways, I did focus more on the reflection. I'd like to think it would have worked better if I wasn't just playing around.
