Dawn took some great pics of these huts, so I decided on a digifiddle!

Not sure flickr (or anywhere) needs another Blea Tarn reflection shot, but I've just revisited this to upload to Alamy so thought I may as well post it!
The sides and shapes of this building on campus lends itself easily for reflection shots.
This is the Baughman Meditation Center alongside Lake Alice.
The exterior walls of the pavilion are covered in windows and made of natural Florida cypress stained to resemble the surroundings plant life. The cypress is grooved vertically to give the appearance of individual tree trunks. The sloping roof of the pavilion is composed of tongue-and-groove yellow pine and copper to mimic the look of medieval cathedrals. The front door is made of maple with inlaid Gothic patterns in cherry and an ornamental architrave of crenelated mahogany. The floor is made of three shades of travertine marble arranged in a geometric pattern based on the building’s structure. The pavilion is oriented so that the dominant axis coincides with sunrise and sunset at the summer solstice.
The Baughman Center was the brainchild of Dr. Baughman, a university alumnus, who was the first president of New College of Florida He was inspired by the picture of a building he found in a National Geographic magazine. The Baughmans donated $1 million dollars towards the project and after five years of planning, construction started. The building was completed in 2000.George Baughman died on December 24, 2004, and his memorial service was held in the center on December 30.
Heather loves caves and caverns so on this trip back East I tried to take her to as many as possible. The first one on our list was Luray Caverns, near Luray, Virginia. I visited these caverns as a kid, probably over 40 years ago.
A lot of reviews knocked Luray Caverns as too commercialized but we thought they were great. Incredible formations everywhere. We lucked out and got to go on a self paced tour so we weren't stuck traveling in a group. This was a great place to visit and we both gave it a 5 star rating.
I took these photos in late April 2015.
This has been one of my personal favorites of these reflection photos of the John Hancock Tower in Boston, a 3-paneled reflection shot of the 500 Boylston Street building, Old South Church and Trinity Church. It is also one that has been published in an amateur photography book.

I do like doing reflection shots. Had to hurry it up to get the balloon seller in. It adds appreciated interest, tho I was quite satisfied with the roses, trees and old glory.
This is a window to the Carousol House. The carousol dates back a good ways. Used to be in the Highlands Fair Amusement Park. I remember having school picnics there as a child. Two years in a row for me, and then it burned down. The carousol escaped major damage and after refurbishing, ended up here. A beautiful work of art and a ride for just one dollar.
I took these photos while wandering aimlessly around San Marco Piazza in Venice during the Carnevale in February 2010. It was quite an experience - all these costumed characters milling about waiting to be photographed by throngs of paparazzi. I lucked out by doing a lot of one-on-one shooting with the costumed people. I'd love to get back there next year to try new things and check out the new costumes!
Reflection shot - I thought it was interesting to be able to see the outside passing by with the empty seats inside the subway. One way of keeping amused on the long ride to and from Coney Island.
My attempt of trying to do a reflection shot, a bit weak since the puddle is not that deep and the lighting's the wrong direction, still it give me some idea of what to do next.
My monthly self-portrait comes in the form of a reflection shot today, which is out of the norm for my usual style of shooting myself. I havent been feeling to well as of late, either under the weather or allergies kicking my ass once again. Regaurdless of what it is, I would really have rather just stayed in bed all day: then go out attempting to find something to catch my eye for the POD. I have to say that I am dedicating this shot to my good friend Joey, who goes by Archangel for those who know him as well as I do. He came into my life after the tragic passing of a friend of mine five years ago, and he helped me realize that if I kept bearing my thoughts on the past and things that I couldn't change, I would in reality cause the end of me. He's been in my thoughts and prayers a lot lately on the basis he was in an accident a couple weeks ago, and although fine psyhically: mentally he isnt allright. I really hope he doesnt mind me sharing that, but I figured I could give him my support in the way of including him in todays shot as the angel on my shoulders, watching over me everyday. If you read this Joey peace be with you, and hope that things make sense in the end. (and for the record if the stupid driver who hit him reads this, get off your damn cell phone and get a lisence!)
I love reflection shots and this one is very Escher-esque - Photo by Patty Mooney of Crystal Pyramid Productions in San Diego, California - sandiegovideoproduction.com/video-producers/patty-mooney/
There's something seriously spooky with this reflection shot apart from the driver.. can you tell what it is?
This was shot for an assignment topic of 'Reflections'.
Shot on black glass with micro lens. Was fortunate in a recent Photo Critique Contest this won an Honorable mention, out of 97 entries.

A motorcycle meet is a good place if you need a few cool self portrait reflection shots, and who doesn't need that?
I'm talking about my new lens--the 35L--that came in yesterday. The reflection shot with new toy has become kind of a tradition for me. So here it is. Can you tell I'm happy?
I took a short day hike from the Lundy Lake trail head, near Lee Vining, CA back in September 2010. I wish I had a better trail guide - it noted a lot of waterfalls but failed to mention the very steep climb over unstable rocks. I didn't quite make it to the top where all the lakes are but will go back there better prepared. Other than that it was a great hike - nice country and very very few people.
Awabakal Nature Reserve, Lake Maquarie, NSW, Australia. Redhead Lagoon
I took some reflection shots - as you do - while out walking around with my camera. This group of sticks poking out of the lagoon caught my attention. Being early morning and very calm, the water surface was almost like a mirror.
I quite liked the shot but probably wouldn't have posted it until I showed it to my daughter on the camera when I got home. Because of the way I held up the camera to show her, she instantly noticed a hidden face in the photo. If you tilt your head right and have a look you may see it as well.
After the sun came up I got a couple of forest reflection shots in the still waters of Lake Matheson
Black Stilt (Kaki) flying. I was tracking this beautiful rare stilt as it came in to land in the swamp. However, I missed a wonderful reflection shot which I didn't notice at the time!!
