The track on a railway or railroad, also known as the permanent way, is the structure consisting of the rails, fasteners, sleepers and ballast (or slab track), plus the underlying subgrade. For clarity it is often referred to as railway track (British English and UIC terminology) or railroad track (predominantly in the United States).

The term permanent way also refers to the track in addition to lineside structures such as fences etc.

Southern New England Railway (SNEX) RS-36 no. 5012 (ALCO, 1962-1963) is seen next to the former Cambridge station, which is now occupied by the Argyle Brewing Co. I can only imagine the old platform makes a great place to watch the Batten Kill Railroad rumble through town!

Yezzir. Decided it was time for a do-over. These are scaled correctly too, meaning they line up with stock rails perfectly, and are scaled correctly to 25, making working with them easy.

They look a lil funny when made bigger due to the bottom outline having some sort of glitch, but if you want to use them larger, you can play with the outline- i couldn't find a way around it, and it was hard enough getting them to look this good. lol.
