Ik ben niet zo van de Traxxen, en ook niet van die G2000 TIA-locs. Maar deze Railpool Rainbow Traxx wilde ik toch wel graag op de foto hebben. Die zie je hier immers (bijna) nooit.
Vandaag trok deze loc de 2105 en elf Dolime-wagens. Geheel onverwacht moesten ze in Putten even aan de kant nadat de sprinter vlak voor ze tussen Ermelo en Putten flinke vertraging opliep. Op de foto trekt de trein weer op, maar door het wissel zijn net niet alle wagens te zien. Nou ja, één voordeel.......hierdoor reed de trein nog geen 40 km/h tijdens het maken van de foto.

She greeted each person waiting in the long line with a warm hug and a sincere smile and once I met her I realised she was exactly the person in real life that she portrayed online! So refreshing and so cool :)
We decided to collaborate and take some pictures together, to create something that was true to me while also connecting to her passionate spirit! Here's the first one :) Hope you like!!

Sinds een jaartje is de 61030 een vaste gast in Putten. Meestal rond 14:30 uur maakt deze trein een korte stop op het zijspoor om de intercity aan zich voorbij te laten. Heel vaak is het een kort keteltreintje, soms met slechts twee of vier wagentjes. Vandaag was het een uitzonderlijk lange trein (voor 61030 begrippen) en werd deze getrokken door een Vectron. In de meeste gevallen wordt echter een 189'er ingezet.
Op de foto weer eens een ander overzicht van Putten, met op de voorgrond het huis van de vroegere stationschef van Putten, en op de achtergrond het station, de fietsenstalling, de traverse en de twee parkeerplaatsen. Rechts is nog het stootjuk te zien wat daar in 2007 is geplaatst, toen het goederenemplacementje van Putten werd gesaneerd.
Als je sommige accounts mag geloven dan schijnt in Nederland altijd de zon. Geen idee waar dat dan is, maar hier in Putten is dat zeker niet het geval. Kijk maar!
Trein 634 reed vandaag met twee ICM's, en als het regent kun je bij dat materieel altijd van die fraaie regensluiers achter de pantografen zien verschijnen. Dat fenomeen wordt extra goed zichtbaar als je een telelens gebruikt.
Hier rijdt ICM 4235 voorop, gevolgd door de 4073. De karakteristieke voetbrug blijft voor mij toch altijd een heerlijk herkenbaar Puttens decor. Voor het maken van deze plaat ben ik tot bijna helemaal naar het kopje van het perron gelopen.

La Ronda de Dalt, identificada también como B-20, es una vía de circunvalación de la ciudad de Barcelona, España, que transcurre entre el Nudo de la Trinidad y el Nudo del Llobregat, recorriendo el norte de la ciudad condal. Con los años el tráfico ha aumentado y la Ronda es cada vez menos apta para soportar el flujo de coches que van y vienen de Barcelona, por la tarde, por la mañana y durante el día se atasca fácilmente por un accidente o un coche averiado... !una putada!

Dankzij een welkome heads-up pakte ik zojuist dit setje lokken. Ik was echt nét wakker en last het berichtje dat binnen enkele minuten deze trein voorbij zou rijden. Nog voor ik me kon aankleden zag ik ze al passeren. Gelukkig draaiden ze het zijspoor op waardoor ik ze met gepaste spoed kon inhalen. Met een te grote lens op de camera spoedde ik me naar de Beekweg, waar ik precies op tijd arriveerde voor het maken van deze foto. Helaas geen extra ruimte kunnen laten voor de trein, waardoor ik hem op deze manier moest uitsnijden. Nou ja, ze staan in ieder geval als uniek trio op de foto.

Vandaag reed de 2308 zijn rondjes in de 5600-serie over de Veluwelijn. Hier staat hij naast de 2702.
Vandaag waren er nog maar 13 blauwe SNG's op de baan. Vanavond gaat er eentje de schuur in om vergeeld te worden, en morgen staat er nog eentje gepland om zijn laatste blauwe rit te maken.
Het is nu echt een uitstervend ras.
You might have already seen that one bridge a few seconds ago. It was in a vertical format and everybody seemed pretty pleased.
And now it's back. In a horizontal format. Sharing the fame and spotlights with the neighbouring bridge pictures and couldn't be happier about this new treatment it's being given.
I put out a hanging flower pot in the back deck and today I quickly snapped these guys (one in the bottom could be a young male or female). Tomorrow I will try to take my time and ensure my exposure etc are set right, so I can avoid the grain (below) and darkness (above) ..

Deze leuke klassieke loc was zojuist in Putten te zien. Hij werd helemaal achterop een Strukton trein richting Leeuwarden meegesleept. Gelukkig reed hij met zijn neus richting Amersfoort waardoor ik een plaatje vanuit de goede hoek kon maken onder de traverse.

All the photos I present were taken in the town of Taormina (Sicily);
I made photos related to "street photography";
I made portraits of people I did not know, this certainly thanks to their sympathy and availability, I thank them very much;
I tried to capture the essence of minimal photographic stories, collected walking down the street ... in search of fleeting moments ...
For some photographs I used a particular photographic technique at the time of shooting, which in addition to capturing the surrounding space, also "inserted" a temporal dimension, with photos characterized by being moved because the exposure times were deliberately lengthened, they are confused -focused-imprecise-undecided ... the Anglo-Saxon term that encloses this photographic genre with a single word is "blur", these images were thus created during the shooting phase, and not as an effect created subsequently, in retrospect, in the post-production.

Tutte le foto che presento sono state realizzate nella cittadina di Taormina (Sicilia);
ho realizzato foto riconducibili alla “street photography”;
ho realizzato dei ritratti di persone che non conoscevo, questo certamente grazie alla loro simpatia e disponibilità, li ringrazio davvero molto;
ho cercato di cogliere al volo l’essenza di storie fotografiche minime, raccolte camminando per la strada ... alla ricerca di attimi fugaci s-fuggenti ...
Ho utilizzato per alcune fotografie una tecnica fotografica particolare al momento dello scatto, che oltre a catturare lo spazio circostante, ha "inserito" anche una dimensione temporale, con foto caratterizzate dall’essere mosse poiché volutamente sono stati allungati i tempi di esposizione, sono confuse-sfocate-imprecise-indecise...il termine anglosassone che racchiude con una sola parola questo genere fotografico è "blur", queste immagini sono state così realizzate in fase di scatto, e non come un effetto creato successivamente, a posteriori, in fase di post-produzione.

Vandaag was ik weer even in een alternatieve bui, toen er diverse bijzondere treinen door Putten kwamen. De losse G1206 van Strukton was daarbij eigenlijk maar gewoon een reguliere verschijning, maar de manier waarop ik hem fotografeerde maakte me toch wel weer blij. Hollandse koeien liggen op de voorgrond terwijl de loc onder het portaal door kart.
This is the weirdest thing that's ever happened to me with a camera.
I pulled over to take pictures of a gorgeous but weird sunset last night, did HDR bursts, and then took them home and put them in Photomatix and they ALL looked like this.
I later realized the weird colors in the sky screwed up my white balance, but I.. kind of like this odd result.
Can't say I've ever seen a picture that looked like this that wasn't horribly overprocessed.
Love the grass.
Since 1618 there is in Tripkau a church building. In 1757 it became by a simple hall construction without tower he-puts, and this timber-framed building also forms even today in the original substance the nave which was extended in 1864 by choir, sacristy and tower.
Only the loft is received from the old equipment from the 18th century; pulpit, font and altar have remained from the gothic equipment of the 19th century; the organ comes from 18.th century, has been put up only late in this church.
The church was renovated basically and initiated in 1998 again. The interior is from numerous cross motives passed through which are unique in the hannoverschen county church.

Gisteren waren deze twee locs al even in Putten te zien met hun zusje Monique. Ergens in de nacht zijn Nicole en Demi weer terug gereden om deze sleep RailPro ballastwagens op te halen. Na een stop op het zijspoor staan ze hier op het punt om Putten te verlaten via de overweg aan de Volenbekerweg.
Vanmorgen zou de Euro9000 lok weer door Putten komen, dus ik stond op tijd klaar voor een foto. Groot was echter mijn verbazing toen zich dit trio aankondigde. Een V100 van RRF, een BR189 van MRCE en de Stadler Euro9000. Onder treinnummer 51390 kwamen ze om 10:33 uur binnen op het zijspoor, waar ze om 10:51 weer mochten vertrekken. Deze 18 minuten overstand maakte dat ik dit treintje drie keer in Putten kon fotograferen. Dit was de eerste foto, daarna ben ik nog naar het zijspoor gereden voor een tweede, en uiteindelijk heb ik het vertrek vanaf de kleine Beekweg gefotografeerd (zie andere foto).
I’ve put up a headshot of Hadi a couple years ago while I was experimenting with lighting. We decided to try Out some lighting again.
This was a strobe with a 20 degree grid and barn doors the strip of light. The strobe was as close as we could without blocking the camera (about 2ft). The barn doors were closed as tight as we could get (about a quarter inch slit). The other light was a strobe fired one a fall about 15 feet behind me for fill.
Black v flats on either side and behind subject were used to cut any left or right reflections.
I don’t use modelling lights, but aiming the main light was so difficult that I needed to use it.

In honor of winter I thought I’d put up another from Abraham Lake taken nearly a year ago on a trip up to Canada with Alan and David. This evening was an eventful shoot at the Belly of Abraham Lake with storm like conditions raging over the mountains. It was blistering cold and wickedly windy on the lake surface but the dramatic light made it worthy to be out.
These bubbles are a bit different from my previous posts as these are deeper below as if they are trying but unable to reach the surface. In the background is Mt Abraham with soft evening light and wispy clouds dithering off the summit. Hope you all stay warm for the remainder of winter.

I've put a lot of work into this girl over the past eight months since getting her from Dallas ... a LOT of training in and outside of classes ... and at last, after two very long hikes with Tanya and Mr. Poodle himself (Jasper) this weekend, I now feel confident in Matlin's off-leash abilities. She has come OFF the long line and is an amazing listener and trail buddy.
Yesterday she encountered her first 'game', as a red squirrel broke just in front of her on the path. A simple "ah" from 50' away, and she stopped. She even left a dead goose on the trail today instead of bringing it home for dinner.
Every day I am grateful for this girl ... but this weekend I am doubly grateful for her as she blossoms into one amazing companion.
