"Happy Fence Friday!"

So this is my one and only fence friday for the whole 365 and while it isn't a spectacular shot, it at least is interesting to me and has some nice tones and leading lines. It was a rainy, dark, dreary day here in Metro Detroit, but Daisy and I couldn't be couped up in the house any longer and so with a short break in the weather, we headed out for a walk with the 50mm on the camera, to see if anything jumped out at me. Perhaps I over did it with the details, but I wanted the contrast to be prominent and needed to do something to make up for the completely flat light.

One more to go!

This drawing is using 2B pencil and I got inspired by the game I play, Gaia Online and this picture present my favorite style and I really like Fendora and Vest... I will apply this style in my real life. The hairstyle is rainy down hair.

Easter is over, I'm back to work, and the first email I get from my boss is to let me know that the Fabric Warehouse has a pop up shop across the road from the office for the next two weeks with silks and woolens at $5 a metre and everything else at $3 per metre. You've got to like a boss like that. She makes all her own clothes and always looks fabulous.

I went over mid-afternoon and bought a few bits and will probably go back later in the week. I forgot to take a photo of the shop when I left (although I took several shots of fabric in there) so I took this on my way to the pub for the pub quiz.

Day 149 of 365.

If you know me, then you will more than likely be a subject for a photograph by choice or not. My family know this the most and will often volunteer to help out when they can. Always wanted to try this image.
